Does the communication feature have to be added to each phone??? So will it be $10 per phone

Any tips on the best way to stay in communication with my family and kids while we are on our cruise. We have a group of 16.

Has anyone ever had an successful upgrade from a balcony to a spa balcony or a club spa balcony? If so how much did you bid?

The room descriptions are below. The room sizes are identical, 135 sq ft (the 201 sq ft is a ADA room). The Family rooms are on upper decks forward and aft. In the past, they would put "family" rooms near the kid's club... concentrating the kids running through the halls to a small portion of the ship. The Category I4 indicates that they charge a premium price for those rooms.
Ok so yes the same amount of space. My kids are on deck 12 way forward, whereas everyone else in inside cabins are on deck 11 in the aft. Just seems really far away from the group for no real advantage

It may be a little larger to take into account that there has to be two drop down beds for guests 3 and 4.
This may be true. We will have 4 kids in this cabin

It’s definitely not a suite. Picture looks exactly like a standard inside.

Some family insides, like the Joy, are actually 2 bedrooms with a wall that mimics a view. There are several threads on here about that. You would need to specify what ship you are talking about.

Ok thank you! They put my older son and minor kids far away from everyone else in our group. I am going to ask if one of our cabins can switch people so that the kids are closer to some adults.

Does anyone know what the difference between a family inside cabin and a standard inside cabin? Is there more space???

Thanks a lot. I will do that.

We have just returned from the NCL Escape and absolutely loved the thermal spa— especially the pool and all the heated chairs. Any other NCL ship have a thermal spa comparable to the Escape or even better?
thanks!Did you get a day pass or pay for the week?

We're going in July but thanks for the reminder about the roll call.

Hello I am traveling on in the Norwegian escape 7/9/23. We are booked in cabin 9184. I was just wondering if anyone had any information about the noise level in this cabin as it is close to the elevator bank and also looks like it is above the district brewhouse.

I’m glad to hear there is some positive feedback. I’m cruising on the Norwegian escape in July. I am also traveling with family and we took the air flight package. Norwegian said they did not guarantee we all be on the same flight, but that we get there. I am worried because we are flying out of a smaller airport that they may send some of us to a larger airport about an hour and a half away. The bookings all say they’re leaving from my hometown however, I’ve read some horror stories about the cruise line sending them last minute, a few hours away to catch flights. A few people in my party have never traveled before and do not drive, so I’m hoping we don’t get split up too dramatically. I’m crossing my fingers when my flights are signed, they will be acceptable.

True about the room to the board and board to the room. I just want a way to keep up with my pre-teen kids. I want to give them space but also parent and not let them be run all around the ship causing havoc. So I do care if they know where I am or not. However, $10 per phone for messaging might be ok although I’d rather have a free method.
