Planning to take the Alaska cruise. Would like to fly in the day before. Where is a Seattle hotel that will provide shuttle from airport to hotel and hotel to cruise??

Leaving on a cruise next Sunday from Galveston to Key West then Bahamas. I have heard the last cruise there was really cool. We have only cruised to the carribean and it gets warm on the second day out. Do we need to take some warmer clothes just in case?? Thanks!!

We have cruised on Royal Caribbean and Princess. Keep hearing it is roudy crowd on the Carnival. And costumes r skimpy. Is that true???

Looking at 2/26! One more question. Is it worth the difference to go on the Breeze rather than Freedom? 1st time on Carnival.

Did the water taste ok? We were on The Navigator last year and the water was really salty. We thought maybe the desalination process was not working correctly. We have not had this problem on previous sailings. Everything else was great!!

Also was there a waiter in the dining room referred to as "mr why not" in the happy corner? We just loved him and hope he is still there.

There is a place on the Princess website that ask if you are celebrating an anniversary or anything. What do they do if you are and I assume there is a charge? We are scheduled for 9/9, when will we get our package with the paperwork? We are using a TA, will they send it to her? We have filled out the personalizer. Can't believe how many cruises people take, (2 a year?) Do they offer you a good deal while on the ship to sail again? Is that the time to book? If you get a soda card, does that apply to coffee, latte, every drink but acohol? If so, how much are they? I have always heard about the chocolate bar, but don't see anything on the princess website for it. Do they not have it on the Dawn? I understand they don't have the midnight buffet (which is fine with us). Thanks for your help!!!:)

Thanks for the quick response! I will watch the cruise personalizer. We live in Longview Texas and will fly out of Dallas. We leave Seattle at 3 stop in Denver at 6, leave at 7 and get to Dallas at 10. Where do yall live? Thanks for attaching your pictures! It has been such fun looking at all the pictures and reading the reviews! We are so exicted, we have no idea what to expect. It looks like it is SO pretty up there. We are celebrating our 40th anniversary, I have even gotten 2 new black dresses for the formal nights. The rest of the time I plan to be warm and comfy. We have booked a GTY room on the Dawn (9/9/06). Right now if I look at my reservations all it has is Category E. The TA said that was E (Emerald) deck. Is that right? How will I know if they have upgraded us? Will they fill in the Stateroom? Right now it is blank. Also, the TA said we would have a picture window but someone said EE (which I don't think we have) is only a small porthole. I have also heard you have to be careful that they don't tell you it is an upgrade and it really isn't???? How do we know for sure what we have? As if you couldn't tell, first time to sail. We had Princess book the flight thinking it was insurance against missing the ship. We are flying out of DFW and got a direct flight (American) to SEATAC, which is good. We land at 11:30, does that give us plenty of time to board? We were able to add our FF # to American website to get the miles. But the return trip is with United with a stop in Denver getting back to DFW at 10:00 at night. Next time I will book myself and come a day early, we are learning...........I have heard we came out pretty good for them to book. What time does the ship get back in to Seattle? I assumed that is why they booked our flight late (3:00 pm). Thanks for any help, we are really excited!!!!
