  1. Wow! Your review was very informative and well-written! I enjoyed reading it. :)

It's also the first S5 review that I've read. We're staying in 15122 with our 12 yr old son. Hopefully, we have a different butler, lol! Do you know if the chair next to the bed can be converted to a bed for a 3rd person? I wasn't sure if that's where he would sleep, or if there would be a pull-down.

  2. Hi. We had a tour with David Fox last week while in Bermuda. Great guy!!! Very very knowledgeable. He was waiting for us at 9am right outside the ship with our name on a sign. He's very accomodating to all of your needs. We let him do his thing though as we wanted to see as much as we could. St. George was our favorite as you get to see the woman get dunked at noon. We had time to shop, eat lunch(he was so nice we invited him to eat lunch with us, our treat.),stopped quite often for photos to. He was the best and I highly reccomend him.:D

We have him booked for our June 30th cruise. So happy to hear that you were pleased with his tour! We can't wait! :D

  3.

By the way since I am looking for a new underwater camera. I decided to look at this camera on Amazon, and the ship had it for the same price as Amazon. Just incredible! On celebrity the markup was ridiculous.

I have that camera, and I love it! I used it in key west recently for all my pics and was very happy with the quality. It has some cool features. :)

  4. Well, as luck would have it, he actually got back to me tonight.

My next question is, he quoted me at $60/hr. there are 5 of us that will be on the tour. Is this rate more than the government allowed rate?

It turns me off if he is charging more then the allowed rate. Where can I find the Government allowed rate?

That does sound pretty high. I booked a tour with David Fox in June, and he is charging us $40/hr. There's 3 of us and that's for a 5-6 hour tour. His email is thefox at logic dot bm. He responded to my emails the same day.

  5. Yes, that's the email address I used. It's been a few days and no reply, do you think I should re-send it since he answered you that night?

Yes, I think you should try again. We emailed a couple of times back and forth, and he was pretty prompt with his responses.

  6. I've tried emailing both David and Colin and have not had a response from either. Are they still doing tours? Interested to know how long it took for them to reply to other peoples emails. All the tour guides from the various other ports I wrote to replied with a day or so. Any suggestions on how to reach them or any other guides? Our visit to Bermuda isn't for several months but I'd like to book someone now to know that part of our trip is taken care of.

If you're talking about David Fox, I emailed him in the beginning of January, and he responded that night. Did you email thefox at logic dot bm?

  7. Deck - 7

    Cabin # - 660

    Class – GS

    Location - Aft Starboard

    Bed near?(balcony or bath) – N/A for a suite

    Quiet Cabin – extremely

Balcony View - ocean, no obstructions

Balcony Size? - Normal for GS

    Was wind a problem? No

Any specific problems with this cabin? no

Any other comments? loved the location of this cabin. very convenient to boardwalk, promenade and central park. Only issue we had was you had to pay attention to which set of elevators (starboard vs port) you get into when going back to the cabin because you can't cross over to the other side if you take the wrong ones. I guess they didn't want to block the boardwalk sign with a walkway. Many times we accidently got in the port side elevators, then had to go down (or up) a deck, cross over, then back to deck 7. This is only an issue on deck 7, aft.

  8. Like i said earlier, hundreds of posts were lost a while ago.

I do not know how? Why should it matter, anyway??

I don't have an opinion about the topic, but the same thing has happened to me with posts. I haven't posted in a few years (since our last cruise, really), and when we booked our cruise, I wanted to start surfing the boards again. My screen name was never deleted, but my posts were. I think I read somewhere that when they went to the new format, posts were lost? I just assumed that's what happen to mine.

    just my 2 cents....
