  1. Are there any car rental options that offer late returns on St. Thomas?  We typically rent a Jeep from Budget at the Havensight pier, but this year we have late arrival and depart times (arrive 11:30am, depart 7pm).  Budget rental returns at Havensight have to be back no later than 4:30pm, which cuts off a little too much of our time there.

  2. I just got the Marriott Resort for 175/night on Priceline from 2/20-2/23, post-cruise when bidding for resort. Not a great deal, but acceptable since those dates fall during the school vacation weeks up north. I had spent the past couple weeks bidding, starting at 75, and when I bid 150, Priceline return offered at 175 so I took it just to be done with it. Wish it was the intercontinental, but it's not a big deal.

  3. Hi all. I did not see it posted here through a search, so if it's there and I missed it I apologize. But it appears that Victory does not have a steakhouse. Does the Victory offer any type of formal dining in lieu of the steakhouse (not counting the "formal nights")?

    Thanks!

    Matt

  4. I'll be flying into Tampa on August 19th (cruise is leaving the 20th), and will be staying in the Renaissance Hotel right nearby (courtesy of Priceline). I have "transportation tickets" by Carnival from the airport the next day. I called the Renaissance and they do not provide shuttle service down to the cruise terminals, so should we a) take the hotel shuttle back to the airport the next day and hook up with the pinstriped Carnival caddies (carrying luggage back to airport as well), b) take a cab from the hotel and throw away the transportation tickets, or c) make friends with locals and cross our fingers?

EDIT: Option D) Take Rosebuds advice and try to get it switched to the Marriott Waterside. I too have a free car rental that I wasn't going to use that Priceline threw in. Maybe I could do what she did?

    Any advice appreciated.
