  1. We had 3 cabins booked for Royal Princess - Alaska Northbound out of Vancouver.  Originally supposed to leave yesterday (6-27-2020) 😞. Canceled by Princess on 4/14/2020.  Immediately sent a refund request through Princess website.  Received an email from Princess on or around 4/21/2020.  Total amount refunded back to credit card on June 21, 2020.  They originally told us 60 days - so they were close.

  2. I haven't done this excursion, but am booked in May through Resort for a day dot com. $120 pp. They pick you up at the port 45 minutes after the ship arrives. My question - What time is the return? I can't find it on the website or on my confirmation. We are on the Oasis, in port from 10:30 AM to 7 PM.

To answer your questions, Read this excellent review by Mitsugirly. That should help you out a lot!

We used resort for a day dot com in Jamaica (although not Hilton Rose) and they were great. Got us back to the ship two hours before the official departure time. I thought they were highly professional and customer service driven! We had a very good experience and would not hesitate to use them again!

  3. I feel for you. I had Noro on FOS back in 2010. :( Second day of the cruise! Was quarantined for 36 hours and although the symptoms subsided - felt weak and blah the rest of the cruise! When I walked off the Freedom at the end of the cruise - I swore never again! But went back to cruising in 2012! So you never know...after the memory wanes..you may go back!

    Hope you are feeling better!:)

  4. we are also doing the research for 2015. having just got off the celebrity reflection in february, we are leaning towards the 8 night norway on the eclipse 8/22/15. we are doing the price comparison vs the serenade, and the clipse is winning with the 123 or pick your perk. torn because the serenade is all glass and designed for alaska or norway. thanks for all the info on this post.

My family just booked three staterooms on the 8/22/15 cruise. We weren't offered the 123 or pick your perk deal because the cruise was after March 2015. We were given $125 onboard credit and the ability to select another deal if one is offered at a later date!:)

  5. Just got confirmation that early seating on FOS has been changed to 5:30p rather than 6p. Has anyone been on FOS since the time change and therefore have the showtimes changed as well. Does any one have a current Compass reflecting the change?

Also, just saw that the CD will change on 2/21 from Allan Brooks to Abe Hughes.... any comments on Abe?

    Thanks

We are sailing on 2/28 and recieved our cruise documents yesterday, which states the main seating is at 6:00. So I'm not sure:confused:

  6. We sailed on Freedom of the Seas last week (Eastern itinerary). Missed Cococay but did stop in St. Thomas and St. Maarten. Richard Spacey was still cruise-directing until he leaves for Oasis. Hysterical - my boys loved him so much.

I haven't done a trip report but thought I'd share pictures:

We were in Cabin 9526 - a D1 category, port side forward.

And as long as I'm posting, here's the link to our St. Maarten and St. Thomas days:

    Hi!

We are doing this itinerary in February. I'm guessing that when the ship can't make Coco Cay you spend another day at sea?

    TIA!
