  1. I have picked this balcony room for an eastern Caribbean cruise dated 9/15/2019 an have a few questions.

What I did not know at the time is it is a connecting stateroom and I am concerned about the noise coming from the other stateroom.  It also seem that in connecting staterooms I will get a chair instead of a sofa. I do not know this is true of not being my first Royal Caribbean cruise.

Any information about connecting stateroom on the Allura of the Sea would be most appreciated. I am wondering if I should try and change my stateroom

  2. Thanks for the information about the Crown Grill not serving free beverages and the MDR only ice tea. I was on the Carnival ship last year and the MDR served both ice tea and lemonade at dinner. Did not do the specialty dining so do not know if they served Ice tea and lemonade I am glad I asked and not taking nothing for granted. I did plan on dining at the Crown Grill.

  3. I will be on a 7 day Pacific Coast Cruise this September on the Grand Princess. During lunch and dinner times is free ice tea and lemonade served in the Buffet, MDR and Specialty restaurants? It seems like breakfast has a nice selection of beverages to choose from but was concerned about lunch and dinner. I have been on other cruise lines and they offered a choose of ice tea or lemonade.

  4. Thanks to all that responded. We normally dress nice for dinner just not what you would consider formal wear. We have cruised on NCL, Carnival and Royal Caribbean also. This will be the first time for us not having dinner in the MDR on formal night. We thought we would just do the buffet on those night but than we thought it might be a good time to go to a specialty restaurant. We normally do not do specialty restaurants. We are looking forward to the cruise and I'm sure will have a good time.

  5. Thanks for the quick response. I did not want to offend anyone showing up at the Crown Grill dressed casual. Reading some post on formal dinning night some people seem to get offended if people are not dress accordingly. This is our second Princess cruise and we normally eat in the MDR and normally dress up on formal night. This cruise we would like to avoid dressing up.
