Costa provides generally have two kinds of sockets, European multi plug fitting 220 V (types C, E, F and L, British type G and Swiss type J doesn't match) and those fitting US types A and B 110 V, both 60 Hz. All cabins are equipped like this, throughout the ships you can find mostly the European type.
Thank you for your help. That's great that they generally have both kinds of sockets. Do you know if there is a business center on the ship?Â

I will be traveling on Smeralda March 3. I will need computer access. Is there a business center with computer access on the ship? I can't find anything on the Costa Website. I can bring my laptop if needed - but have concerns about damaging it if using a power converter. Any advice? Thanks in advance!Â

Sailed on smeralda last month, when signing into laptop, phone eventually lost connection and vice versa. Costa app still works without paid connectionÂ
You were able to use the Costa app on a US phone? Or just on your laptop?Â

Thank you for the information.Â

I've seen some mention of a Costa app for telephone but when I search can't find anything. Is it still available? Or is that something you can only download once on board? I don't see anything on the Costa website.Â

Thanks again. Would like to lighten my load and not bring my laptop. But then, it is a big ship and computers might be busy. Probably best to just bring it. 🙂Â
