Once you have been assigned your gty cabin - is your TA notified or would I get notified directly from Princess?

We are booked on the Emerald for Panama in January, we decided on January because kids are in school but with cruises being back to full capacity - it doesn't really matter. You just need a little bit of luck on your particular sailing...
Try to pick events ahead of time and plan accordingly.

Looking forward to your thoughts about the Sun. I've been on the fence about booking something, help get me off this fence and onto the Sun! 🙂
Bon Voyage

We love it for the same reasons. Just a little more civilized. Good for the waistline as well!
Agreed! Since I can't seem to remember portion control in the buffet, it helps if I'm not serving myself. Breakfast items seem to be on the lighter side but just the right portion!

Success! Full day Cabana on Thursday sea day. Very excited. It was efficient and orderly.
Although there was some groaning from people waiting when they heard a couple trying to figure out what the trajectory of the sun would be so they can figure out which chairs they wanted. I believe they checked with NASA, repositioned a satellite, and figured out where the sun would be. ☀️
Glad you scored a cabana - this is my plan when we board the Discovery. Book it to the Sanctuary!
I'm honestly not to too picky about the sun, just want to score a seat.
Big hat, book and a drink.

Do prices go down at all once a new ship has been released?
Since the Sun was finally released - will anything change now as the other ships are now no not the newest?

I think currently the promo offers a $100 deposit, although it's not the Love promo but it could work for you.

It is very different with courses based on wine selections. 360 dinners I have done were set menus and drinks plus a visual experience
Thank you!

How much is the Wine Makers Table? Is it considered an equivalent experience to 360?

Usually when I post pics of food it's virtually moments after it's served, I try to keep the "Live" almost live. But last night I did not post anything because I wanted to enjoy dinner at The Catch by Rudi. I have lots of pics and will post them shortly.
Let me say this about The Catch right away, it was the best meal I've ever had on a Princess ship. Now, this restaurant may not be for everyone. This is NOT the place to go if you're one of those cruisers who has to do everything and wants to have dinner in 35 minutes. Dinner took 2+ hours for our 7:20 reservation and it's supposed to take that long. It's not the precooked meals like in the main dining room. Everything is cooked to order. There are three courses plus a welcome glass of champagne, an amuse bouche and chocolates to complete the meal. It is mostly seafood but Steak Frites is on the menu as is Steak and Lobster.
My wife had the Tail of Citrus for the appetizer which is a marinated lobster tail and for her main, Shiitake Crusted Halibut. For dessert she had the Handcrafted Palate, a cheese plate. I had the Seafaring Stew cioppino and then the Sole a la Minute, dover sole filleted tableside. My dessert was the Mozart Berry Composition, a berry souffle.
Everything was delicious and there was not one dish I would not order again. In fact, we're going again on the final evening. Service was spot on, it's clear only the best of the best work in this restaurant. No issues with ordering drinks as Bellini's Bar is the service bar.
Pics next.
So happy to hear you enjoyed it that much! I was planning on booking 1 evening there but based on all the positive reviews, I think I'll book two nights.

Were people buying and smoking cigars or just cigarettes?
Good question, I wasn't in there a whole lot but only saw cigar smokers...

They have apparently been disappearing on all the ships
Hmmm, I wonder why? We were just on the Ruby in July and the cigar lounge was always busy, couldn't find a seat, although it was slightly small.

Is the cigar lounge disappearing for good? Shucks, my hubby was looking forward to enjoying a cigar there.

We did the same itinerary at Christmas and ran a thread here
What a great read, the menu pictures are great too. Thanks!

We are doing this exact itinerary and ship but not until October...excited to read your experience.
Will you be checking out the Sanctuary? Interested in whether that is worth it.

What deck is the retreat pool on? Is the Sanctuary nearby this?
I'm wondering if these adults only areas are easy to go back and forth from?

Such great pictures and information, we are thinking of this itinerary and ship for next year. I hope you enjoyed the ship. Thank you!

Puerto Vallarta?
How quickly should your CVP call you back?
in Princess Cruises

I've only had my CVP for about 2 years but whether I call or email, he gets back to me within 24 hours. Responses by email come a little faster than the phone calls I might add.
