Thanksgiving 2009 on the Dawn the ship had major power failure. The Captain and Crew were wonderful. We were on our way home from St. Kitts. A long story so I will not bore you on details, but the most memorable night I have spent aboard a cruise ship was then. No air conditioning, so very hot. We slept on the loungers under the stars. Ship was going very slow, almost stopped. You could see so many stars and no sound except my husbands snoring. I laid there thinking about how little we are in this world.
Amazing story! I appreciate your positive attitude in dealing with this unplanned situation.

I have a tender tummy and became ill every time I visited Mexico even after following the general rules (no water, no ice, no salads, only hot foods, fruit with peels etc.) My doctor finally advised me to drink a cap full of Pepto-Bismol before every meal and at bedtime to coat my tummy. This worked! I made it through my last visit without getting sick.

Great news...I use Uber all the time. We are visiting the Big Island later this month.
Thanks!

Thank you for your detailed reply ESM54687 - I purchased my first SDP for my upcoming cruise and was confused about the terms and conditions.

I came here looking for the same information. I have done several day passes in the Caribbean and enjoy the relaxing environment, restrooms, towels, lunch and the option of using a pool when done with the salt water. The prices have been all over the place, but to me it's worth it. I will definitely check into Coco Beach Resort.
Thanks for providing the information SBtS.

Thank you for sharing your cruise experience with us. I am enjoying following along.
I just booked the San Francisco to Honolulu cruise for Mar 2016, now I wish it would hurry up and get here.
Called NCL to cancel excursions - what I learned
in Norwegian Cruise Line

I called NCL today about my sailing next week. We had tours booked for the Eastern Caribbean Islands. If you call them and ask them to cancel your excursions they will credit the money back to the credit card it was charged to. If you don't call, then your canceled excursion will be listed as on-board credit when you cruise.
