  1. I'd be curious to know how many posters have actually be able to apply the

certificates to their deposit, by sending them in with final payment and receiving a credit back on their credit card?

We've had a bit less success than the previous poster. We submitted $1500 worth of certificates for a cruise in which we owed only $1300 (appx) for final payment. The NCL call center twice told us that we would be refunded the difference on to our original deposit credit card and we still have not received it. It has been about a month now.

The last time we called we were given a number to contact regarding our refund. The person in that department now states that even though we are, indeed, owed the refund our travel agent has to call to make the request. Unfortunately for us, we booked through a cut-rate travel agent who (so far) has been unresponsive for our request for them to call and initiate a refund request.

  2. Does anyone have a guess as to how long it takes NCL to process certificates they receive? We mailed the certificates in last week, and I'm (kind of) expecting a partial refund of my deposit on my credit card. So far I have not seen it yet.

  3. Our $1500 in certificates just arrived, in the nick of time! Now it's time to send them to NCL...but the address on the certificate is a PO Box:

    Norwegian Cruise Line

    P.O. Box 025403

    Miami, FL 33102-5403

I see it is recommened to send via FedEx or at least Certified Mail...but can you, to a Post Office Box?
