    UPDATE:

Full TOTAL refund from Carnival, including excursions and steakhouse,

Able to cancel parking minus $15.00 admin fee,

Able to cancel pet sitting fee at no charge

Able to cancel Victor Bodden tours in Roatan, no fees

All in all, not to bad for cancelling two days prior to sail date.

    Thank you Carnival.

PS wait time for an operator was only 1:37:07 hours.

    Again, Merry Christmas y'all

We are still in debate mode for our Jan 8 on the Vista - seeing above makes me feel better about our options to cancel - thanks for posting and Merry Christmas!!

I'm a bit confused about your queston.

Are you asking if you drive out of the U.S. (into Mexico or Canada) and drive back? The U.S. requires an antigen test within a day of entering.

Are you talking about getting off the cruise ship and driving home?

Right now the U.S. hasn't put any requirements on cruises regarding testing.

Remember you don't even need to show a negative test to fly within the U.S.

I'm sorry I wasn't clear - we are driving to the port of Galveston and will be driving back home - thank you for answering my question!! Merry Christmas!

  3. I have a couple of questions too since it has been a couple of years since sailing.  Which nights are the elegant nights?  (I don't want to miss the lobster and escargot) Also, are there still theme parties and which nights are those?

    Thanks in advance!
