Wrong! The only things you cannot use OBC for are crew gratuities (if you want to "top up" for a particular staff member) and onboard bookings. And in the casino when they get around to reopening it. Crystal is one of the few lines that allow you to book excursions online and not have to pay for them at the time of booking. They are automatically charged to your shipboard account.
Ok whew! Thank you for the confirmation

Is it possible to use onboard credit for excursions? The reservation agent said it could only be used for dining, spa, or shop spend onboard, not excursions. I was shocked when she told me that, just want to confirm with the group.
TIA!

The bounceback I got went to spam. It took me a couple of days to spot it. This was just five weeks ago.
From memory, it was Azamara''s email gateway saying that the specific address didn't exist.Ah, you're right! I see the bounceback in spam. Luckily someone from the roll call responded and I was able to connect with her. If it wasn't for her I would have been out of luck. Thanks again everyone

I tested that previously and, despite being in the same format as the other ships, just bounced. Head office said there was no direct alternative!
Thank you for contacting Azamara.
Unfortunately, we do not have an email address for this function. However, we do offer Wi-Fi onboard that would enable you to check your personal email. If this isn’t an option, friends or family can call us at [UK office contact number] and we can send a message to the ship for you.
Please let us know fi additional assistance is needed.
interesting. I did try that email and did not get a bounceback. I'll respond to the thread if someone from the ship responds. Someone just responded to the roll call, hopefully, I can connect with them. 🤞

Have you tried ringing Azamara?
They told me to try ship dial. They were not much help.

Hello all
i need to contact a guest that is sailing onboard Onward right now. They have not returned any email or text messages since they were supposed to board the ship. I tried the ship dial service but it never transfers me to the Onward it always says invalid entry. Does anyone have a suggestion how to contact a guest onboard?
thanks!

Yes, the problem is the prohibition against shipping liquids. I usually pack most liquid items in my checked luggage. This time I will take only what I can't find in stores in the countries we visit. It will be easy enough to buy sunscreen and lotions along the way.
Do you know if you can have bottles of wine in your luggage when using luggage free?

Greetings,
Does anyone know the email address to contact Azamara to note dietary restrictions while on the cruise?
Thanks!

Hi there...
I have to ask... what is the excursion "workaround"? I'm in a similar situation with OBC to use but would like to pre-reserve the excursions. On the Azamara FAQ site, it says that excursions cannot be cancelled onboard and then rebooked using OBC.

great info, thanks!

Greetings Crystal Cruisers!
This Christmas/New Years will be our first Crystal cruise and our first river cruise. I know the dress code for Crystal Ocean cruises is quite formal, however it seems to be more casual for their river cruises. Is a tux/evening gown to "dressy" for a Christmas/New Years evening on a Crystal river cruise (we'll be on the Bach)
Thank you!

I have been FaceTiming with my boyfriend on the Oasis for the past few weeks. It's been working great.
Have you enabled WiFi Calling? (Settings -> Phone -> WiFi Calling) If not you should and give it a try. See how it works...
For those that don't know, WiFi calling allows you to make regular calls on your phone using WiFi instead of the carriers cell towers. No international roaming charges apply and people from the states can call you as normal as well. You are also able to send and receive txt messages without using iMessage. This is a relatively new feature for VZW customers with iOS 9.3 and something ATT and T-Mobile have had for a while. I use it at home all the time now because i have weak LTE coverage while inside.
Just curious if anyone has used this feature, WiFi Calling, on the ship.

Hello Everyone
Did a search, found folks talking about WiFi calling, but didn't actually see anyone with experience using it onboard. Just curious, with VOOM internet (Allure) were you able to make and receive phone calls without issue with WiFi calling enabled?

I finally found it...Seven Seas Charters!
Happy sailing!!!
Thanks, do you know what tour you did?

Hello all,
Does anyone know of a small sailboat or catamaran tour that doesn't stop at stingray city? We have done stingray city so many times, we're just looking for a relaxing day on a boat with stops for snorkeling and some beaches. Any ideas?
TIA!

If you want any type of privacy on your balcony and in your stateroom without your shades drawn, then book an ocean view.
All of the staterooms in central park and boardwalk can eaisly be seen by people on the boardwalk/central park or the pool deck. I mean EASILY, i could see right into those rooms that did not have the shades drawn. Unless you like to people watch alot, i dont know what the appeal is to these roooms, esp after seeing how everyone else can see you too
If i were you, book an ocean view and enjoy the only view a cruise can offer!

Unfortunately, it is not our right with Crystal. Crystal Cruise contract states.. "...Carrier may cancel the proposed Cruise without liability to refund Cruise Fare paid in advance." listed in Section 10(c) of the contract. I'm getting Deja Vue from 2020 all over again.
You can cancel the cruise to get a refund but you'll lose the cancelation penalty, which is 50% right now for most of us. seriously doubt insurance would cover the penalty.
