Friends of ours went with Jordon Horizons recently and were very satisfied.

I will be using them in March 2019...will report back how it went.

We are doing Petra/Wadi Rum tour...$195 p/p with private group of 8.

    Entry to both sights included.

    Hi there,

I am having trouble accessing Jordon Horizons web site and email...anyone know if they are still operating?

Also the trip advisor page shows the day trip to Petra AUS$386, a little dearer than what you paid back in March.  Any thoughts please?

  2. Oh Marie, I am sad on so many levels.

Firstly I am so sorry you are facing a serious health issue and I wish you nothing but strength and love as you face this challenge. You are not facing it alone if all the lovely comments on this thread are anything to go by.

I am also saddened that someone on this board has used this forum to cause you distress when it has been such a source of fun, laughter and love for so many of us. I have so enjoyed the "company" of all the ladies here.

I am also sad that I wont get to drool and dream over your beautiful gowns - but then no more frustration when I arrive too late to see the 'photos. :)

Warmest best wishes to you Marie,

    Lynne.

  3. Sailing on the Sun this October and have enjoyed reading this thread.

As the thread dates back over the past 12 months I was hoping someone could say if the information given is still current. For example :

Lots of great food choices in Sports Bar from 5.30pm to 5.30 am.

Pizza in Moderno during lunch time.

Java Cafe open 24 hours providing complimentary croissants & muffins in the morning, and cakes in the afternoon.

2 for 1's available every afternoon (? venue).

    Coffee pot in balcony room.

Food aside :), one power point in balcony cabin

Thanks for what ever you can update.

  4. Hi Ladies' date='

Hope that everyone is doing well. I haven't been on much lately....so busy with work and our cruise is not until Jan...plus I broke my foot again...should be out of the boot in a couple more days.

Now I need some sympathy from you all. Drew and I booked a cruise a couple of days ago...It is in three weeks! We have never booked anything that quick....so I don't have time to order new dresses! So I will have to wear some that are in my closet! :) Now I expect to hear lots of "poor you".:)[/quote']

Hi Sherrie Lynn, I too don't get on to the boards as often as I would like so I hope I am not too late to say "poor you". :D A broken foot sounds horrible but nothing like a cruise to make your poor foot feel better. :) Have a wonderful time; I wish I had your closet as a last-minute go to option as your gowns are all gorgeous. Lynne

  5. [We are heading to Niagara Falls next month for a mini getaway

    Lisa

Have a great time in Niagara Falls Lisa :-) ... Dave and I go every year around June as we just live a couple of hours away and it was our first "away" date when we were dating... it was 12 years ago yesterday that we met and we have been going for a couple of days every since .... far enough away to really feel like a vacation and yet close enough to home that we can just drive to :-).... we have always been on the Canadian side but we hope to see it from the USA side one year :):)

I love reading this thread but don't really have much to contribute - until now! Years ago DH and I arrived on the U.S.A. side of Niagara Falls and took a walk across the bridge to the Canadian side - without passports. Canada would not let us in - and the U.S.A. would not let us back in :eek:

Long story short we spent 2 1/2 hours in the border control office on the U.S. side pleading our case which pretty much went "we are just really really dumb Aussies". :o

  6. Marie, so good to hear you are having a great time. Your adventure in the laundry room was so funny - I wonder if it is now a case of you see that gentleman wherever you go on the ship. :) Continue to enjoy and I do hope Ken's sore throat is just a case of too much partying last night. :D Lynne x Oh yes, and I am definitely down for get together cruise!!!

  7. This Christmas will be our first AZ cruise. We like to dress up on X and RC on special evenings.

I know AZ is smart casual and I'm aware of what that means of course, but I couldn't pass up a very pretty lacy knee length cocktail dress.

Would that be out of place at Christmas eve dinner? Too dressy?

Or should I just stick with a sparkly top?

I'm the shy type and don't want to stand out in the wrong way.:o

I've attached a photo from google.

    Your red dress is gorgeous!!

  8. Porthopper--As usual you have selected gorgeous dresses. I love the black one; but the green one is nice too.

Globetrekkie--You look great in all of your dresses. And they are all very pretty. I love the style of the short green dress. I had tried on a similar dress but couldn't find a good fit. Either too big in the bust or too tight around the belly. I was bummed. Glad you had a great fashion cruise.

I am so sorry but I laughed out loud at this, you have started my day with a big smile. :)

Marie, your new dresses are simply gorgeous and globetrekkie thanks so much for posting. You look lovely and, as been said, so confident which gives an extra wow to any outfit.

  9. WOW, that's alot of candy! I bought candy, but never had anyone show up after I got home from going T or T with my grandkids, so now I'm eating it!

I was in the U.S.A. last week and bought lots of candy for my first "real" Halloween. As my son lives in an apartment complex it became apparent we weren't going to get any t & t's so I hit the streets and went to them. :D
