I booked an inside and was only given opportunity to book inside guarantee. I received bid offer and low-balled it. Got a balcony for $100. Seemed like the insides may have sold out at the time I booked. I did book only about two months from sailing.

13 days!! Breakaway!

I was on this same cruise and it was a very positive experience. Loved Savannah Jack! All the shows were high quality! Chops and Portofino were excellent and worth the extra money (or OBC as was my case :D).

It was my daughter's bday and Chops brought out a bday dessert. Johnny Rockets was delish! My girls loved the C&A gift of sling bags left in their rooms (for new C&A members?)

Lots to do and the ship is in great shape. One issue was our toilet kept filling and they came and fixed it promptly. The line at guest services needs to be better managed. I had a small issue with OBC showing up and I had to ask rep to leave me a voice mail in room once resolved, however he should have offered this. I did not want to stand in that line again.

Overall, all crew were very accommodating and gracious.

My post was asking about the screening process and if she would have trouble taking this onboard in carry-on. I appreciate those who shared their experiences and those with positive comments. I do find CC to be mostly informative and grateful to those who are willing to share their insight and knowledge about cruising. I'll ignore all the others.

On our last cruise we had MTD and had the same wait staff except one really busy night. The main waiter still made time to find us and come over to say hello.

I am on Liberty now. Selfie sticks are abundant. Haven't witnessed any problems.

Thanks for all the positive responses. I can assure you all that we will not be visiting any museums on this cruise! There are worse things that can ruin your trip than a teen with a selfie stick! Geesh.

You either love them or hate them...but I have a teen DD who has an underwater camera who wants to bring her selfie stick on-board for the best pics. Hoping she won't run into a problem bringing this in her carry-on bag. Anyone out there brought theirs on-board? Any issues going through the screening equipment.

She will most likely want to take it on and off the ship too. Thanks!

One of my fav souvenirs is a sample pack of Lily Bermuda perfume from Bermuda. I am still working my way through all the scents and each time I wear it I am reminded of Bermuda. I bought it in a shop at the Clock Tower Mall in Kings Wharf.

Can anyone explain how my on-board credit will work if it's split between two reservation numbers? I booked my husband in one cabin and me in the other but we'll move when we get on board so my teen daughters can have their own cabin.

Most often, people will complain about service before they compliment service. Thank you for the positive comments!

I usually take the overall price and calculate a price per day, per person.

If it seems like a value we book it. If you look at the price of some all-inclusive resorts, cruising is still a good value.

It just doesn't look nice when there are trays all over the hallway floors, glasses left in corners of elevators, on any ledge available, public bathrooms, pool area floors, etc. My opinion is, if you wouldn't make the mess at home, please don't do it on vacation. The post about wheel chairs and scooters is also very valid.
