Had this amazing crepes in the MDR at lunch on the Oasis last year.

We enjoyed those on the Allure a few weeks ago!!!

We had crepes for dessert at lunch in the MDR on the Allure a few weeks ago. They are stuffed with cream and fruit (berries and big sweet cherries). They were so yummy!!!!:)

Hello! Perfect timing for me to read this thread as just today I booked a B2B out of New Jersey. So excited to be doing this. One question I have is: do we need to get in line for a new Seapass card? We have the same room booked for both cruises - do we need to pack our suitcases?

We were on Allure B2B from Aug 24 thru Sept 7. Our Seapass had those dates on it, and we did not have to get new cards for the second week. We have done B2B before and this is the first time we did not have to get new cards.

That's a more difficult question because the price of the D varies. However, I would not pay more than $1250pp (before taxes & C&A perks) for a JS on Oasis/Allure.

Thanks for your quick response. I'm just not sure if the extra money is worth the extra space.:confused:

What would you pay to go from D-1 hump to JS on the Allure?

Independent driver - 888-816-0973

 

Embassy Suites is being offered by Trinityreservations.com as a park/sleep for $208 tax included with 14 days parking. The web site offers the Independent Driver phone number as a contact for a cruise port shuttle. So that means Independent Driver is likely to be shuttling folks from Embassy Suites to the Cruiseport for your Quantum sailing. They have no web site and only take reservations 4-6 weeks out. If you can get others from your roll call, you can get a price for about $12/pp for more than 4 people. Someone from my Quantum sailing in Jan is doing this for Embassy Suites and Country Inns.

 

The Embassy Suites package only offers 7 days parking, so you will be paying for two extra nights parking. Parking at Cape Liberty will be $152.

We will be leaving on the Quantum on November 23, 2014. We will be driving to New Jersey and we are reserved at The Embassy Suites in Elizabeth, NJ. We need help in reserving a shuttle or other form of transportation to and from the port if we decide to use the hotel package that will allow us to leave our car parked at the hotel while we are away.

Any suggestions?

We saw some men being rescued from a small boat that had capsized not far from San Juan.

We saw three men being rescued from a small capsized boat after our ship, the Independence, left San Juan. One man did not have a life vest and was clinging onto the side of the little boat. The rescue was amazing! Maybe we were on the same cruise?

I have heard that the banana split was made with vanilla pudding and not ice cream. Does any one know if this is true or not?

I ordered the banana split from the kids' menu on the Oasis in December and got ice cream. The waiter gave me a funny look when I told him I wanted to order from the kids' menu, but he didn't hesitate to get it for me. Sometimes the desserts on the regular menu do not excite me. :)

Thank you Dave for saying it...I deleted my response 4 times as I couldn't find the right words to say how disappointed I was with that total utter waste of time that google hangout was.

 

I have had more fun and learnt more watching paint dry.

Thank you Merion Mom for posting all the pictures and information. My DH and I are heading for the Grandeur on Friday for our first cruise on her, so this information could not have come at a better time for us.
