  1. Traveling with a large family group on the Equinox's 12/28/24 NYE cruise this year to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Turns out we will have our 21 year old twin daughters in our regular balcony cabin with us. I know, I know...🤪 but we are treating everyone and it's what's in the budget. What can we expect as far as where our girls will sleep? Both on a sofa bed or one on a sofa bed and one in a drop down bunk? It's cabin 8194. Thanks in advance!

  2. I happen to have booked this 2019 crossing on board Quest last month and then had the Cruise Sales Specialist Mark (great guy- smart and personable, btw) pass it over to my TA whose record Mark had from our on board profile. I laughed about the disconnect of ending in Miami and starting the next day hundreds of miles away. Seabourn has known about their website accuracy problem with this matter for weeks. Now if they would just make it clearer online. But never mind... TAs know better. Go ahead, call one, and book!

    Happy and healthy sailing!

Interesting! I knew there had to be a reason for the “sold out” notice. Can you recommend a TA?

  3. My husband and I have had our eye on the November 2019 Odyssey transatlantic from Lisbon to celebrate our 25th anniversary. Went online to book this cruise and it is sold out. Just can’t imagine it being sold out 14 months ahead of time especially when the same cruise has plenty of availability for this November.

Thought I’d look for any perspectives on here before I call. Cruise Critic usually knows more that the cruise line phone folks.

    Thank you!

  4. We are sailing the Getaway in May and also have a Spirit cruise booked for the summer of 2016.

If I buy FCCs on my upcoming Getaway cruise, can I use them to pay the unpaid portion of my Spirit fare? Or can they only be used to pay deposits?

Is there a limit as to how many FCCs can be used to pay the fare of an upcoming cruise?

  5. 12 days ago our 10 year old daughter was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. (http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/clarasherman)

She needs to start chemotherapy right away so our 14 day May 26th Alaskan cruise on the Sun is cancelled. We booked through an on line travel agency and our fare is paid in full and non-refundable at this point.

Does anyone have a contact email address with corporate NCL? I'd like to see if they could apply at least some of our paid fare to a similar cruise next summer.

This was going to be a 20th anniversary cruise for me and my husband. But a chemo's over celebration cruise would be even better!

    Thanks in advance,

    Christy

  6. Great info! I ordered the Princess brochure and the map from the AK DOT. Still looking for a more detailed may of the cruise route that goes all the way to Whittier though... The guide books maps seem to stop short of there.

  7. My husband, three children and I are taking a 14 day NCL cruise in and out of. Vancouver which turns around in Whittier this May.

I'd love to find a map to pin up in our cabin, which we could use to follow the ships progress and see the coordinates and names of the small islands and towns we pass.

Does anyone have any idea as to a good map we could use?

  8. We are a family of 5, two parents and children 14,10 and 10, who are taking a 14 night Alaska cruise on the Sun this May.

For reservation purposes, one parent is reserved in each room. But for the cruise itself, my husband and I will sleep in the balcony cabin and the three children will bunk directly across the hall in the interior cabin.

Can we have the parents' room cards programmed to access both rooms? Would that be done upon check in?

    TIA!

  9. We'll be on the Sun's b2b northbound/southbound Alaska cruise 5/26/14-6/9/14.

The latest flight I can find (other that 11:00 pm) is for 12:30 pm. Is this do-able? Our itinerary lists an arrival time of 8:00 am into Vancouver.

Thanks in advance. Don't know what I'd do without all of the advice on cruise critic.

    Christy
