Wow, 38 days! If I could muster through 12, whats 26 more? :D Australia and New Zealand look AMAZING but I might hang out in the pool during Asia. But, you never know.... ;)

 

And yes, please tell your hubby that you get quite a good smattering of the British Isles via cruise ship! Another member is going on Carnival and I had no idea Carnival hit the UK which is good to know.

Yes, Emily. Carnival is cruising from Dover, England next year with a British Isles cruise in there. The Baltic cruise also has a good live report from a Princess cruiser which has taken my interest.

Seems like a lot of people have Celtic roots which is why I think this itinerary is so fantastic. :rolleyes:

This is indeed one of the best reviews and pictures I have ever seen. Princess will and should be very proud of you young lady.

Although not travelling with Princess next year to the British Isles but Carnival. It gave me super ideas and will use these ideas.

Originally from England and now a resident in Canada for 43years my husband wondered why we were going to the British Isles to which I replied when at our age are we going to see all those places at one time. He is fine now and I quoted and showed him a lot of your article.

We will however be travelling on Princess next February on a 38day cruise and nine day land tour with CC members to Australia,NZ and Asia. Could you possible do this itinerary before we go and write another great report.

The cruise was wonderful. Looked forward to dinner every night. thanks for letting us take part in your celebration. My one regret is not doing that helicopter ride in Kauai.

The wait staff at our tables and also the table on the other side of me was fabulous as well. Did you happen to see how well that waiter treated the kids at that table?? He was so awesome. The kids came in the dining room and hugged him every night. :)

 

Also, there weren't too many kids on this ship but man were these kids FABULOUS...such great kids....all of them. If any of you out there reading had kids on this ship I applaud you.

I never saw anything like it...this ship was definitely full of a great bunch of people. It was very noticeable, the difference between 70.

His name was German and we had him for breakfast one day. My sister and I were seated with four more people from Newfoundland. The whole breakfast time was a great adventure. He was so funny and made all the ladies balloon animals. I understand the kids hugging him we sure did after that breakfast. The whole dining staff were super. Never seen this on a ship and like you this was my eleven with Carnival.

Yes the kids were all great. I loved this cruise and thoroughly enjoying your review. Keep up the good work.

Loving your review. We were on the next table to you at dinner and had the same waiters but Robin was our main server. He was awesome. We were in the corner at 107 with Cheryl and Don. The staff were great all over the ship. Our cabin stewards super. Food was the best. Like you the entertainment we found lacking. Pity that Captain Volpi is retiring. He has a lot to do with the Ships crew attidudes. My sister from England was with me and listened to the captains noon day reports daily.

Could someone please give me an opinion on cabin E708 an obstructed cabin on emerald deck on Diamond Princess.

We are new to Princess and will be on board for 38days. We are staunch Carnival cruisers and used to being in a balcony cabin.
