  2. Keep checking FTTF. I booked a cruise last March for August 26th 2018. I did not book FTTF. I thought $89.00 was a lot to get on the ship an hour or two early. About 2 months ago when I was booking shore excursions I realize two ports are tender ports. I tried to buy FTTF but it was sold out. About two weeks ago I was on my shore excursion page and they were advertising limited quantity FTTF. Make it a point to check regularly

  3. In August I will be returning to Port of Tampa, renting a car and flying out of Orlando the next day. I always check bedbug reports and there are so many in the Orlando area. Does anyone one have a suggestion for a clean hotel. I will have a rental car. It does not have to be in Orlando

  4. I am flying into Orlando and renting a car. Is there a place close to the Tampa Port to drop it off. I will also need one for the return trip. I am cruising on the Carnival Miracle. Are there free shuttles from any car rental places to the port?

  6. Depends on where you live and what weather you are acclimated to. We are taking this cruise Dec 11. I live on the Oregon/ California border. We are in our 40's already and nights are down to 20's some teens. By the time Dec rolls around 60 degrees is gonna be warm for us. Maybe not warm enough for us adults to swim but definitely warm enough for the kids to be in the hot tub. ( from past experience on this cruise the kids took over the Lido deck hot tubs) We have a 15, 13,10, 8, 7 and a 2year old going on this cruise. They will have fun even if they don't swim, Your wife and yourself will too. There is nothing better than a cruise!!! especially your first cruise!! What a great present to be surprised with. We talked to the kids and let them know this is their big present from us for Christmas even though it is before Christmas

  7. We are going on a short cruise Dec 11-2017.. I just purchased online a set of mini suitcase for Puglet to show up with in our cabin. I am planning on making a miniature beach towel, and grabbing a bit of sand (ziplock bag) from shore one day and laying her in front of the window. on the towel on the sand with a mini beach umbrella (if I can find mini sunglasses I will use them too). Cookies and milk from room service, and buying a souvenir from the shops for the last morning. On embarkation day while my DH and DD are exploring the ship I will sneak in and set it up. Same with the last morning, as he and my daughter walk out I will lag behind and throw Puglet in my carry on.
