My fiancee and I are going on the Fantasy in July. It will be our first cruise.

 

Do you know if Blue Moon beer or Strongbow cider were served?

I've been tearing up these boards to find Fantasy reviews! I'm sailing away in July!!!:D

I have only sailed with Royal, and to be honest, I was a little concerned with Carnival. The only reason we just booked the Fantasy because it's a quick drive vrs. flying. I'm never done the mega ships, and I am honestly ok with that. I look forward to seeing how Carnival works....I'm hoping it works well, so I can return soon.

I LOVE formal night! I've already started scouring thrift stores for a newer gown for me. If all else fails, I'll pack my 5 yr old stand by!

if you can connect via wifi on the ship, you can do anything on the internet... though, be prepared for it to be slow and costly.

It does pay to check Fare Viewer several times a day! First of all, I had my first SMALL $20 drop last week and was shocked when there were actually two cabins in my sold out category open up and one of them being the room right next to mine. I had friends that want to book and if they don't get on the ball soon it won't happen....but it has been to my advantage!

 

Yesterday morning I checked it and the price had SKYROCKETED over $400! I was shocked! Then yesterday before leaving the office, for some reason I decided to look again....I am obsessive that way....and my price had dropped from my price almost $300!!!!! So....in one day they had raised it $400 and dropped it back $700!!!!

 

Lesson here! WATCH CLOSELY! It CAN pay! Doing the price drop dance! Can not wait to get some R&R!

I've sailed RCI in the past, but when we discovered Carnival sailed out of Charleston, hubby booked us a cruise on July 24 for our anniversary!:D We booked room M23. Can anyone share info. on this room and any useful tips? I'm excited to try Carnival!:p

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. I am looking into a cruise for my daughter and I. I found out Fantasy is about a 4 hour drive for me!;)

I was on the SoS in Jan. They announced this was an "adult only" game and if children were under 18, to please leave. Right beside me was a mom, dad and their young sons..maybe 10&12? They stayed. I looked at the parents to see if they understood the request. Figuring they did, I was disappointed in their parenting choice, but, they were not my kids so we participated. Yes thsoe boys saw somethings they probably questioned the parents about later, but I fault mom and dad. They opened up the "can of worms..":rolleyes:
