I am happy with mine but my son is not but paid for it thinking any balcony is better than an inside. Just curious if it would reopen again to more bidding.

Does anyone know if you can bid again? After you have recieved one. Or is it a one time deal?

Am I reading this correctly? If I purchase the Plus package ahead of time it will cost me $60/day which includes the 18% gratuity on drinks. If I purchase the Plus package on the ship 1st day it will cost me $60/day + taxes? I was going to wait and use OBC but not if it cost me more.

My dad recently passed away and he had $999 of cruise credits from a cancelled cruise that he couldn't take when he got sick. Does anyone have any experience with being able to transfer the credits to his surviving wife? Is this a possibility? Thanks for your help. Of course I will be calling Princess on Monday but would appreciate any input now.

As of today, this is the menu on the Royal.
I was on the Discovery last month, this was not the menu in Sabatinis. I went to both but if I had to pick one I would pick Sabatinis.

Appreciate the help...but my real focus of the question is not the purchase of a gift card...I have a good source for that. Can you "overpay" with a GC? I'm sure I can find any number of places to sell me a gift card at actual face value. I prefer the 10% discount through AARP.
I am curious about this also. Will be purchasing them through AARP and wondered if they would apply extra as OBC?

I would like to thank everyone who provided helpful information. I'm a new shareholder and emailed my request yesterday based on the instructions in this thread. I initially received an auto-reply email indicating "due to current high volumes, please allow up to 21 days for processing".
Today I received an updated booking confirmation from Princess with my credit listed. I'm very pleased.
Me too! Sent in on Monday and it was there today.

How's the weather on your first sea day?

My minimum bid of $200 per person to move from inside to a premium deluxe balcony was accepted on a 7 day Mexican Riviera cruise on the Discovery Princess. I recieved a true aft balcony and wish to keep, does anyone know if they can still "upgrade" or move you?

Thank you for your review. I was curious about the Crown Grill and why it was a bad experience. I went in May on same ship and had 2 amazing dinners there.

Fall back time! We're now on AKDT time and we have one more day to go! As my paycheck dropped today, I am going to talk about Spa packages! I had already pre-planned the spa experience. Sadly, the excursions nope! But, spa, I can go alone and not get lost. Haha. Excursions I wouldn't want to do it alone. I'm doing free things in the ports, and will share my free tips and what I did for others who wanna save on excursions! Especially those of you with big families, as those can get costly!
I went to the Ladies Pamper Party! Only guy there but I don't care! It was pretty good. Here's how it went down:
Go to the pamper party and you get a free facial. You have to do it for yourself, but, you get to try out Carnival's "premium" product line. Elemis is a British product line that is very popular there in the luxury circles. Carnival uses it fleetwide. We got to try 5 different facial products, and they explained each one. They went into detail of how they work for the face, etc and finding your balance. Dr. Miguel Cano (oh man did he look dapper, handsome, and perfect) came in and spoke a little about botox. After that they showed us their GoWhite teeth whitening pens and gave us all a free sample.
So after we tried the 5 different products, they gave us a list of discounts.
Here's their deals for the Ladies Pamper Party

ELEMIS BIOTEC FACIALS $199

Okay now here's what went down: If you book ALL THREE or a combination of THREE. like 2 massage and 1 facial, etc you're discounted to $100 per treatment. So I booked a facial, teeth whitening, and the massage, for $300 total! I added a fourth massage on for my friend in my cabin. They gave me the $100 deal. It applies to everyone in your cabin. So for $400 we got 2 massages, 1 facial, and 1 teeth whitening treatment. I planned no getting a facial and a massage this time around as I never had done it and my party swears by it.
So I bought an AARP gift card rofl, so these are effectively $90 each. I pay around $80 for a massage on land, plus $15 tip.
When does the Ladies Pamper Party take place?

I like to go to the "Hanger on the Wharf" in Juneau. The beer is cold and the food is great. https://www.hangaronthewharf.com/ It's also fun to watch the sea planes take off and land just outside.
Had excellent fish & chips there!

They even let you order 2 drinks at a time per person!

The casino has been pretty near empty on this cruise unless I'm looking at the wrong place.
Spend your onboard credit in casino, just play one time and cash out. Works for OBC.
