I just came on to post a thread asking about teens and the Dawn ship, and your thread was the first one in the queue!

My fifteen year old daughter thinks the NCL Dawn is for a "lazy cruise" and there is nothing for teens. I will be looking forward to the rest of your review. We are planning on taking the Dawn next summer out of Boston to Bermuda. She has never been on a cruise before and has nothing to compare it to. I have been on 1 Carnival and 2 RCCLs, so this will be my first time on NCL as well.

I previous poster who was in that room said that they did call and ask them to turn the lights out..

We were in the front of the ship on the RCCL Radiance. The lights blind the bridge, so if our curtains were open at night, we would get a call from the bridge. One night we forgot and we were out, and somebody came in and closed the curtains for us.

I also saw Bowzer from the former Sha Na NA tv show. He had a great show then the following morning he had an autograph signing in one of the bars. He brought a pile of 8X10 photos of himself and signed them and posed for pics with us. He was a great sport.

We actually had drinks with Bowzer in one of the bars on the Radiance in 2006. He was sitting there all by himself, so my husband and I and two other couples bought him some drinks and sat and chatted with him.
