As I am affected cruise passenger, who has made travel plans anticipating a departure from the port of Venice, and probably a majority of the passengers. It would seem logical for Holland America to make an additional departure point from Venice cruise port. The airport is a busy location  and the crush of all these passengers seeking transport, could be problematic.

January 2018, drop up vehicle at Alamo- Eller location, at about noon.

The shuttle area for pick up to ship was very crowded with people attempting to board shuttle.

Management for safety, held the shuttles until the lines do not block the driveway and then organized the lines for ships in port.

Time for drop off rental car and drop off at ship (Allure) about fourty five minutes.

Return used different rental company, but the line waiting for Alamo at the port was the longest. Staff at loading area monitored line and directed people to shuttle.

Hi,

Once you disembark the ship, staff will direct you to the pickup location for car rental shuttles. Location is a traffic island, near bus drop off location.

We did this recently for the Allure and the line for Alamo pickup up was the longest.

Spoke to staff monitoring location and said this was the norm. Expect 30 - 45 minutes wait for pickup up,

then a wait at rental location.

Based on my research, only two rental companies in San Pedro that are close to cruise port, Enterprise and Hertz.

Unable to determine if they provide a shuttle to cruise port.

Does anyone have experience with these rental companies in San Pedro?

Hi,

Returned Sept 4, from cruise on Millennium. Weather is turning cooler and wet.

Ketchikan was monsoon weather in the morning, but by late afternoon weather changed to partly sunny. Juneau was in the 50's and sunny. Hoonah was mist rain and cool. Skagway was cool with clouds. There is snow on the mountains, just above the treeline and the locals are saying that the weather change is three weeks earlier then normal. So, I would pack for cooler and wet weather. In Ketchikan, I purchased a heavier weather resistant coat to keep dry. Have a good trip and enjoy.

We are looking at a number of transfer options.

The train is not one, as the arrival time will be much later then the bus options.

There are a number of express bus transfers that will arrive prior to 11:00 a.m.

I will to have to re-assess transfer options, and maybe look at express options.

In reviewing transfers from Seward to Anchorage, we would like to book a Delta flight leaving 1:20 p.m. to Seattle. We are connecting with another flight in Seattle. Alaska Cruise transfers narrated tour leaves Seward at 8:00 A.M. and arrives at airport at about 11:45 A.M.. By taking this transfer would I be pushing the envelope in booking this flight. Advice would be greatly appreciated

Dollar has a Port Everglades location, which is located at port gates.

Reserved your vehicle pickup at that location and drop off at the airport. Shuttles are available at the port, to Port Everglades location.

When reserving, confirm pickup location for port.
