  1. Hi Shelley! My Mom and I were on the same sailing.  It was WONDERFUL! Loved everything!  Embarkation/Debarkation - EASY! Efficient! Had a few little snags but Guest Services went were GREAT!  Listened/Concerned and SOLVED issues. Dining/Food: ! Overall GREAT. We enjoyed EVERYTHING! Breakfast - did  a few days in Main Dining Room (American Icon)/Solarium Bistro.  Lots of tasty options. LUNCH: American Icon - LOVED it! We had early traditional dining.... enjoyed everything.  Pool Areas: We spent some time in Adult Only Solarium..... NICE.... Only CON: no pool.... missed it!  Shows: Minor Con - most were late at 10PM. Would have preferred EARLIER!  Loved GREASE/Ice Skating/Headliner! Columbus - Did not care for it (waste of time): silly/alot of  senseless innuendo. Cleanliness: EXCELLENT.  The crew was constantly cleaning.  Overall: 10/10! Awesome cruise! Would LOVE to sail on Harmony of the Sea AGAIN! 🥰

  2. Good Day, Recently completed 15 day Hawaii cruise (3/21 to 4/5). We LOVED LOVED the International Cafe. It was open 24 hours. There was seating (little tables/chairs) near IC counter and around the Piazza. Most of the time we did not have a problem getting a seat. In AM both display cases had lots of VERY VERY tasty cakes, pastries, donuts. Yum! YUM! Around 1100, they would add delicious salads/sandwiches. The IC also had a coffee/tea bar. They had fresh brewed coffee, lattes, capachinos, etc for a FEE. I RECOMMEND buying a coffee card for approximately $29. This card was good for 15 specialty lattes/capachinos/frozen coffees, etc. It also entitled you to all the fresh brewed coffee/tea that you watrd. The fresh brewed coffee or tea did not count as a punch. I loved it. Also, if you do not use all your punches, the card can be used on next cruise for lattes/capachinos NOT FRSH BREWED COFFEE. Star IC staff were OUTSTANDING! PROFESSIONAL, Kind, pleasant, friendly courteous. We looked forward to IC treats and chatting with staff everyday! Enjoy! "GOOD DAY MADAME!!!!!" :)Annie

  3. Good Day! We had Princess transfers from ship Star Princess to SFO. Cost was $29/pp. We did have a Gold tag to put on our luggage We had to go to terminal and claim luggage. There were plenty of porters who were very pleasant and happy to assist. We walked across the street with porter and luggage and it was loaded onto the bus. The entire process took approximately 10 minutes. Piece of cake. Hope that helps. Annie

  4. Aloha! I was on this cruise too! Great weather! Had a marvelous time! Really enjoyed the food, MDR, Horizon Court, and especially the International Cafe! "Good Morning Madame!" Enjoyed all the entertainment! Had an inside cabin on Aloha Deck which was beautifully maintained by our cabin steward Querivan! GREAT TIME had by all! Aloha

  5. BOA RCI CC - provides no proactive/courtesy notification that points are expiring. Recently, on 11/11/14 statement , I got a cryptic notice that I had some points that MAY expire soon. On 11/9 /14, I called to redeem the quoted 19,444 points. I was informed I had 5000 less. The number quoted on 11/11/14 statement was no longer accurate. 5000 points were lost.

Seems very sneaky to me/complete lack of visibility to consumer on point status.

If I did not have a hard copy statement (11/11/14) quoting 19,444 points, I would have no argument/disgruntlement. BUT to have hard copy in hand, call on 11/9/14, which I define as "very soon" - makes me feel very bad/cheated.

There are plenty of other credit cards with better offers out there!

BOA RCI credit card - consumer beware! Avlski

  6. Good Day,

Bottom Line - very unhappy with Royal Caribbean BOA credit card!

    1. Chose to use card to earn points for Royal Caribbean Cruises.

    2. Received hard copy statement that was due 11/11/14 and indicated I had 19,444 points.

On statement it had (word for word) under Of Special Interest - "You have reward points that MAY expire soon. Please redeem your points before they expire."

    3. Please note - on 6 prior statements - not one indicator that any points were soon to expire.

    4. On 11/9/14 - called to redeem points for upcoming cruise - to my SURPRISE - 5000 points had been removed.

    5. I have called BOA 2x, emailed 2x and chatted 2x - on all occasions received canned statements that my points expired in accordance with rules/terms of program.

    6. I use credit cards as convenience. Statement arrives, I review, I pay. I DO NOT walk around with fine print rules/terms of program in my back pocket.

    7. I am frustrated. Statement arrived (due date 11/11/14) with indication I had points that would "expire soon." I called on 11/9/14 which I consider to be SOON!

    8. SHAME on me for not having ESP and a BOA dictionary for a "soon" definition!

    9. I am unhappy related to above!

    10. I believe earning points for cruise credit is a GREAT thing...... but make sure you are aware that BOA does not provide any proactive indicator that you have points that are expiring. DO NOT rely on statement as an indicator for point expiration. Recommend clarifying with Royal Caribbean BOA definition on SOON! Carry around with you the fine print rules/regulations r/t to Royal Caribbean BOA points!

    Beware! avlski

  7. Good Day, I got and started using RCI VISA for points/credit for upcoming cruise. Every month on statement it reports total number of points accumulated. NO EXPIRATION dates posted. .... Statement arrived - payment due 11/11/14 - under accumulated points - "a special note" - you have points that may expire soon. OK. On 11/9/14, I paid balance in full & with statement in hand - called to have points transferred to OBC for January cruise. Statement recorded 19,444 points. RCI VISA personnel on phone stated "no - I only had 11,000. Some of my points had expired." We had some discussion r/t definition of may expire soon. As soon as I got notice points MAY expire I called. There never was any expired date on points. I am not real happy about this. So, if you use RCI VISA beware! Annie

  8. Love Love Love Princess !!!

Originally booked an interior cabin on Regal Princess. Final payment was made. Yesterday, while reading

Princess cruise planner site, I saw the balcony cabins were cheaper than interior. Called Princess & they

Graciously upgraded me to balcony. I am doing the HAPPY HAPPY dance! Thank you Princess! Annie

  9. princess is very generous with obc . I believe intent is for us/ you to enjoy amenities/spa tx/dining on board. Not to take money/cash out. Other cruise lines that I have been looking at - not so generous. I believe princess execs read cc and if see comments/threads like this, they may reconsider their obc policies. I have stock on both carnival and rci. Ex. Rci had sale ( I saved $100) but because of sale I was not allowed to use my stockholder obc. Future cruise I hav booked on princess - no problem - obc applied along with cruise sale price. Due to princess policy of allowing sales/use of stockholder obc/military obc - all my future cruises will be booked on princess. Above comments are my opinion. But I am hoping the "cash out" mentality does not cause the lenient obc of princess to change. Thank you
