I was on this same cruise. I found the inside cabin smaller than my other ncl inside cabins but than I'm not in my cabin that much. It was right by an elevator but never heard them during the night. This one was my best ncl cruise I had 12 other cruises with them. The ship was the best as far as entertainment,food and the staff was exceptional. I liked the cd Sinan but like Julie better.

This area is adults only and they do keep watch. Just off the ship 3/22.

My daughter and I were on this same cruise we can't say enough about the ship the crew and the entertainment is fantastic. We can't wait to board her again.

Me and my family were also on this ship and we also had a wonderful time. This is my 4th time on the Gem. We were invited by the casino only wish I had some winnings to bring home but no such luck maybe next time.

We found 8 ships in St. Martin a bit too much. St. Thomas we went to Coki Beach it was a very relaxing day we all decided to stay on the ship for Samana since we were there so many other times.

There isn't any coin operated laundry on the Epic but they have a laundry bag that you can fill and it cost I believe 24.95. I can't answer your other question about the meet and greet. I was on the Epic 1/1/11.
