Yes, maybe in theory. But when you are on the sunny side of the ship sweltering in the heat and packed against a lot of other people how much are you really getting out of it?
Totally agree. There have been a couple of times I could have passed out from the heat.

That's what we do!
Explain this to me? Do you get a BOGO for each D+ member in the cabin. For e smoke DH and I are both D+. Does this mean that we can get two BOGO’s (pay for two meals and get two meals)?

We sadly had our April cruise cancelled. After this last extension of cruise cancellations to October we went ahead and cancelled our last four 2020 cruises. 😢
When we were on the phone with RCCL husband made the comment to the rep that we just don’t think RCCL will be cruising this year. Reps response was “you have very good intuition”.
We are holding out hope that our April 2021 cruise is a go but have serious doubts. We also have an October 2021 booked in the Royal Suite and are remaining optimistic about this one.

We were booked on Allure in an ATS with another adult couple the week after thanksgiving. Without asking they switched us to what they deemed a “comparable” cabin (OS) on Liberty. Although Liberty is a beautiful ship, and the IS is nothing to sneeze at, it is miles away from comparable. Two bedroom, two bath, enormous deck, genie service to one bedroom one bath for four adults... no even close.
The way we looked at it us thus us sue was due to COVID and we should have been given the option to lift and shift. But were told flat no. We only qualified for cruise credit.
we have now cancelled for cruise credit and rebooked the same cabin on Allure but for October. Fingers crossed.

Has anyone had experience with using the UDP on the 3 night (Nassau, Coco Cay) itinerary? Specifically, are lunches included with UDP since there are no sea days?

I still can't figure out this new site and how to search within a thread. UGH! As a result, without flipping through all 126 pages of this thread (I've already flipped through 50+) and didn't see the question or answer for this... maybe someone can help me?
Has anyone ever bid on and been upgraded to a Genie suite? We are currently in CLS and have bid for SLS and ATS. I have heard that they don't notify you until the last minute and I'm wondering how this would work with the Genie suites as I know that the Genies usually contact you 1 - 2 weeks ahead of time to get preferences, etc. Also would be concerned with cancelling our meal and drink packages in time to get credited if or when (fingers crossed) we get upgraded.
Has anyone had any experience with this?
Thanks!

We will also be on this same itinerary in September. If it's not too much work can you please share the Cruise Compasses?
Thanks so much!

Does anyone know if the UDP covers the cost for tapas at Vintages on Harmony? Yes, I know it's not technically tapas anymore as the food is from Jaime's, but I couldn't find another word for it... snacks? light apps? Anyway, I'm sure that you you get my point. 🙂
Thanks!

Charlie was working with our Genie Susan on our Allure cruise in May.
He was really lovely and I think he will be a wonderful Genie to have.
Thanks so much for your feedback!

We will have Charlie as our genie on our upcoming trip on Allure. Has anyone had Charlie before?

Looking forward to to your foodie review. Especially interested in Chefs Table menu.

Truly enjoying your review and writing style. Thanks for taking the time to bring us along with you.

We will also be on in November and are interested in the Vintages menu as well. :)

What happened to Swiss Miss? Missing the last half of the review. :loudcry:

Thank you so much for the two for one Star class review. Looking forward to following along!
Noticed in fine print on the schedule that the genie put together that tapas and wine are included as Star class. It doesn’t explicitly state a dollar amount though. Assumption is that there is a max $$$ per glass that is included? Can you please confirm? Thanks again!

DH and I are sailing on Allure in 2 Bdr ATS in November. It’s our first time in Star class. Looking forward to learning more about your Star experience.

Congratulations on your 25th anniversary! I agree with another poster you should really consider going to a specialty restaurant the night of your anniversary to celebrate.
My guess for the contest is save $6.
Enjoy and congratulations again!

Hello ARCruisinNana,
When were these pictures taken? This is definitely a different menu than what we experienced in April.
We were told by the chef in April that the menus were going to be changing fleet-wide. We are planning on doing it again in November. However, we were hoping it was a new menu. Not that we didn't like this menu, but we like to experience new things.
The menu you posted looks amazing and would be great if this is the new one.

I see this as a real problem with parents who feel it’s perfectly fine for their kids to roam the ship alone and after curfew at that as long as they don’t bother mom and dad who, after all, are on vacation. Take a little responsibility for your kids. The cruise line is not your personal babysitter. Of course, the two men need to be prosecuted but I fail to see how Royal is responsible.
Totally agree with you. While I am sorry for what happened to the 13 yo boy, his parents are the negligent party in the case, not Royal.

Wow! Just found this thread today and read it all in one day. Shhh.... don’t tell my boss. Hands down THE BEST review that I have had the pleasure of reading! Thanks for sharing with us!

That’s what I was thinking too especially on the first day and the sea day. If you get a specialty coffee or two and a few bottles of water... a couple of mimosas, beers at the pool, wine with dinner... a cocktail or two after dinner... can definitely see how you could get to 15. I mean I am on vacation after all. :');p

We were there two weeks ago. They take lunch reservations when you arrive at the club. Portion sizes are big and food is delicious. Not sure about ordering more than one entree. But I suppose you could.
also not sure about snacks, this wasn’t really offered outside of the restaurant menu. But again, I would guess you could.
They spoil you there. Enjoy.
