  1. Has anyone ever taken a bicycle on a ship? Since we would be driving to Bayonne, it would be easy for us to take our bikes with us. I'd much rather have my own than a rental in Bermuda. Other than the obvious issue of having to maneuver around two bikes (and golf clubs!) in the cabin, is there any reason why we can't do this?

    Appreciate your responses,

According to this post you can: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1230781&highlight=bike

  2. Sorry to sound dumb but I can't find that info on the Celebrity site. Exactly where would I find it? Thanks.

Check this thread with a pdf file attached, with information on the program: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1326559&highlight=luggage

  3. Caramelo,

You have been on an amazing, interesting, beautiful trip, and I want to sincerely thank you for taking the time and great effort to post in the forum and share it with us.

The information you have given is very well thought of, the pictures are wonderful (and some of them absolutely gorgeous), and you have showed us so many pictures of all the places you have been, that it actually makes me feel a little like I was there.

This is a post to keep alive, as I am sure it will help so many people in planning their trip to these areas.

  4. Glad you enjoyed it.:)

I noticed that you listed one of your locations as Uruguay. One of the compensations we had from our collision is the added time we had in Montevideo. One of the highlights of our stay was a visit to little winery near Atlantida – a town just southeast of Montevideo. The winery was called Vinedo de los Vientos. They make a wine out of the Tannat grape that is outstanding They also make one of the best dessert wines I have ever had. You can’t buy it in Georgia, but friends bring back a few bottles when they are in Florida. If you get the chance, visit their winery – it will be a pleasant excursion.

I grew up in Montevideo and still visit ocasionally. Used to spend our summers in Atlantida and/or Las Toscas (right next to Atlantida).

Thanks for the information about the winery, will keep it in mind for my next visit, especially if bringing family/friends with me.

Certainly enjoyed the part in your review about staying extra in Montevideo, anything good I read/hear about Uruguay makes me happy.

Looking forward to reading more about your travels!

  5. Do you remember what the charge for Bingo was?

I was a bit taken aback by the cost of it on the Oasis of the Seas. Although the prizes were GREAT! Shame I didn't win any of them though. (G)

We played it a couple of weeks ago while on the Summit' date=' but I am not a Bingo expert so forgive me if the terminology is wrong. :)[/color']

    Cost:

USD 30 for four sheets, one for each round, I think each sheet has 6 different squares.

USD 40 for eight sheets, two for each round

USD 60 for nine sheets, two for each of the first three rounds, and three sheets for the last round, and you also got 5 strips to scratch off and win prizes/money

  6. We will be cruising on the Carnival Sensation in 2 weeks-- How does one warm a bottle of milk? Can you order warm milk thru room service? Thanks in advance for any answers and suggestions.

We are cruising with a 23 month old soon, he still gets a bottle, and he still gets it warm. I'm thinking of either putting the bottle in ice bucket with hot water for 10 minutes, or just running up to the buffet and get a bit of boiling water into the bottle.
