  1. How fun was this room steward!!!!! I have so enjoyed all the towel animals on my cruises.

Same with us. :) Strangely, though, the most fun we had was our cruise where the room steward was completely inept at making towel animals. He even failed at making a snake! :D It became a game each night of trying to figure out what in the heck they were. :D

Call me a pervert if you like, but I believe I have a new favorite picture. ;) ;) :D

Joking aside, from the smiles on your faces it look like you ladies had a great cruise. :)

  3. I am TERRIFIED of heights (maybe just the possibility of falling) but OMG this looks soooooo fun !!! Yeah sure, I say that now as I'm safely in my chair on the ground, but once I'm up there I'm crying like a baby. By the way...how was it?

It was incredible...fun...exhilarating...a little scary...windy... :D Honestly, it's one of the coolest things I've done.

I also ended up using this picture to customize my Capital One credit card. :D

  4. Last week on the Valor....:D

    Seems so far away!

Oh sorry..before I get flamed:eek: on the Way to Roatan, yes early in the morning and cocktailing already:D:D

I like how the drink is framed in the "V" formed by the wake and the sun's reflection in the water.

  5. Hi Dave, thanks for posting, great pics!

Do you have a on-line photo album? I'd love to see the rest of your underwater photos :D

Here's a link for my photos, if you'd like to see more. (Powershots are great cameras) :)

ONE TIP- if you click on the small arrows below the cover photo, you can see 2 pages at a time, which give a better panoramic view.

Thanks for the link. I'll definitely be checking them out. Here's the link for mine. LINK :)

That D10 has me very intrigued. I have an A610 and an A630, both with underwater housings. DW is going to take some convincing for me to get a D10. I like the idea of having a ruggedized waterproof camera. My activities always center around water...snorkeling, fishing, kayaking, etc... The housing makes the A610/A630 a bit too bulky when not underwater, but when kayaking I worry about tipping...so must use the housing. Thinking that I'd but the A610 and housing up for sale on eBay to offset the purchase of the D10. I'll hold on to the A630 so that both the DW or DS and I can shoot pics when snorkeling. :)

  6. Thanks I had one of these.... The Canon D10

It took great photos, this is another of my favorites.

Very nice! I'm using a Canon Powershot as well...an A630.

We LOVE Canon cameras. Here are a couple of my favorite underwater shots.

Took these in Hawk's Nest Bay, out from St. John.

Took these in a local quarry here in Ohio. It actually felt a little unsettling being in the water with this monster catfish.

  7. Dave Wojo, that truly is a wonderful ship shot.

    Thank you. :)

We didn't spend much time on dry land. I tried to get some different point of view shots of our snorkeling.

Very nice underwater shots. What are you shooting with?

  8. I took this shot below of the Vision of the Seas while tendering in Cabo San Lucas. It is one of the best "ship" shots I've taken. What makes it unique for me is that I was contacted on Flickr, where I host my pictures, by a representative from Royal Caribbean..asking for permission to use it in an advertisement. I gave permission, but I don't know if it has ever actually been used. :)

  9. No, she wasn't...but there were plenty who were. :D

The beach to the left was so crowded that we thought we'd just drop our towels in the clothing optional area. After going not even 100 feet into that area we changed our minds.  We're as liberal as the next mid-west couple ;), but we didn't care to know any of those folks that well. :o

  10. Yes, I like the shade option. We're cruising in June so temps will be a little hotter. I like the idea of being able to be outside in the warm air but not in the direct sunlight. I looked at ship diagrams while choosing my cabin and chose a room right underneath guest services with the hopes that that will be a quieter area than under the Galley or near the Main show room. Thanks for the info. Any pics of the inside of the room?

    Here ya go! :)

We had connecting cabins. Here's the door to our friends cabin, and the balcony door.
