  1. Seawinds family beach club is through Carnival (well it was for us). It is next door to Sunset Beach Resort. There is a chain-link fence separting the two. I've been to both and prefer Seawinds. Seawinds includes non-motorized water toys, food and drinks. Very nice pool, swim up bar and a little shopping. Very, very nice. Water was beautiful.

Does this excursion go to the Sunset Beach Resort near the cruise terminal??
  2. I am so sorry if this has been discussed, but when I saw 204 pages of post, I'm taking a chance someone will be kind enough to answer again.

I was on the Conquest in 2005. The Captain's night where drinks were served where held in different rooms during the week. On the Dream in 2009 they waited until the last night of the cruise to do this, plus it was in a room that held about 400.

I guess I am about to complain. Having it on the last night of the cruise was a hardship for some. That is the night you have to pack by a certain time and get up early the next day.

I'm just trying to find out if anyone knew the schedule of this on the Conquest for 2011/12? Will be sailing in March 2012.

    Thank you

  3. Hi

I did lose my balance once and did hurt myself. (and my pride) but would do it in a heart beat. Once on it's segway and moving it great. My husband loved it and wants to buy one. Would highly recommend it. Had alot of FUN. Also got some great photos while on tour.

I was getting excited until I read you lost your balance. First, I'm sorry you got hurt, but now I'm afraid of this happening to me. I lose my balance quite a bit (I don't fall over and stuff) because of a chronic condition. And because of this chronic condition I thought I would get around much better on one of these and not having to walk so much.

Heads I try it and tails I don't? ACK!
