Thinking of doing the twilight day pass through resort for a day. Would love some input. Will be in Cozumel from noon to 10 pm. Thanks in advance. 

I was in Bermuda two years ago on the Carnival Splendor. We spent two nights in port. Both nights the casino opened at 9 pm.

Did you use the self laundry and if so, do you need quarters or do you swipe your card ? Looking forward to the Vista ,sailing on February 25.

We will be in Bermuda next week for 3 days aboard the Splendor. Does Carnival stay on ships time or change to Bermuda time ? Anyone out there have any experience with this ? Thanks in advance.

I have also switched to Anytime and never looked back ! Totally enjoy the flexibility and have never experienced more than a 5-10 wait to get a table !

Remember to take some one dollar bills for tipping luggage handlers , etc.

We cruised over Christmas about 10 years ago. It was very nice. Carnival did some special things and the ship was decorated beautifully. Not a lot of small children either . Would do it again for sure !

My first cruise was on the Tropicale in 1998. . Such wonderful memories from that cruise. Like other "firsts" , the Tropicale will always have a special place in my heart. Carnival cruise # 15 scheduled in November.

I put mine on my snorkel equipment bag backpack ! Unfortunately , I do not have one for each of my 14 Carnival ships ( on some sailings they did not give them ). Anyone know if there is a way to get them from Carnival ?

Yes, it can be used on the other lines Carnival owns. I purchased my 100 shares earlier this year ( 3 days before a booked cruise, and got the OBC for that cruise), and think if you cruise CCL, it is a no brainer. I have another cruise booked in November, and have the OBC for that one too. Go for it - my financial advisor said it is a solid stock.

Having toured the ship's infirmary , they are equipped to handle most anything. They have intensive care capabilities. Rest easy and enjoy your cruise !

Hampton Inn Blue Lagoon ( near the airport, free shuttle to the airport, $15 shuttle from the port to the hotel ) is lovely. Nice pool area, across the street from a nice shopping / restaurant area. Excellent Cuban restaurant there. I have stayed there many times and have always been pleased. Enjoy !

I do not know of any hotels offering free shuttle to miami, but have used SAS transportation many times from Fort Lauderdale to the Miami cruiseport. $15 each, one way. Very professional, courteous, prompt service. I also use them for the transport back to FLL after the cruise. Check out their website. Enjoy your cruise !

Sailed on the Paradise a few months ago. No hair dryers, but you could ask your cabin steward to bring you one .

Was on the Breeze a month ago and the gift was the cooler/beach bag.

I had a balcony on the Breeze and there is a refrig. There is room to put stuff ( you can also have your room steward empty it ) . Only problem is the refrigerators are not too cold. I would say cool at best. Hope this helps .

Arrived at the pier about noon, on board about 20 minutes later ( VIP boarding ). Put luggage out the night before, did zone 1 debarkation, off ship by 8 am, in FLL by 0830. Enjoy the Breeze ...a beautiful ship !

Were you able to get the OBC for Nov 2014 cruise?

Yes, I got the credit for Nov. 2013 cruise too !

I purchased mine on a Monday, faxed all the necessary paperwork on Wednesday , sailed that Sunday , with the OBC ! After I faxed the paperwork , I followed up with a phone call, and the person I talked to was very helpful. I also got the OBC for my November cruise .

The Tropicale , 1997 ! Great family cruise, out of Tampa. 5 days. Have been hooked on cruising ever since !

I do at least one load at some point during a cruise. Even though I am platinum, I prefer to do it myself. I also feel the workers work hard enough; they don't need to be doing my dirty laundry !
