  1. We are coming in to Kona on the POA and we are scheduled to arrive at 7:00 am, but most of the charters start at 6-7, how is one to book a charter, if they begin when we arrive? Any help or suggestions would be great. We would like a 6 hour tour.

  2. I am wondering if there is a beach close to RCCL pier, that one can walk too w/chairs, ect? How far is Mr Sancho's and can you pay for just a day pass w/out food and beverages, we are not big drinkers.

  3. It is really none of anybodies business, whether people remove the tips or not. I remove them, but I pay cash in envelopes. I am a server and have a daughter that is a server, I know how it feels to be stiffed. I enjoy handing the wait staff and stateroom attendant envelopes and personally thank them for their service. (I know the behind the scenes I am unable to do that, but I will put the envelop in the box at desk.

  4. We were also on the cruise, we actually did B2B. Out of 14 days we received 4 towel babies, which I was disappointed, but our stateroom attendant was great. We did notice that there was a lot of empty deck chairs and everyday we got 4 towels and on the last day the towel attendant said we have a 30 minute towel policy if your chair is unattended. Ok, but we lay out in an area that is not used by many and besides there were tons of empty chairs all along the ship. I was disappointed we had 2 sea days the last leg of our cruise and they did not utilize the outdoor movie screen. All they played was there slide show of beach pics. Ok many of us would like to watch a movie during the day to pass the time away. I do feel that the entertainment is taking a hit and they are spending more money into entertainment on the Oasis class and Anthem class and the older ships are getting the so so entertainment. I found the activities from 7:30 to the 9:00 show very limited. We are not big drinkers and you can only look at the shopping so long and would find our selves back in our room until showtime.

  5. We are doing our first b2b cruise. I know some of the entertainment will be the same, but I am wondering if the main theater will have some different entertainment. Our cruise directors change during the cruise.

Independence OTS - Leigh Xuereb May 17 through September 8, then Ricky Matthews from Sept 8 for 2 months to cover Leigh's break. Leigh is expected to return at the beginning of November.
