Yes Thank you Nancy!! I'm on that next cruise for Dec 20, and I am concerned even though my roll call doesn't seem to be!

  2. That will be a crazy-crowded and noisy weekend in San Francisco but quite fun for those who enjoy the excitement that Fleet Week always brings. I am surprised that the Star will be coming into port at that hour because there usually are hundreds of sailboats and motorcraft in the bay during special events like this. It should be lots of fun.

Me too!!! I thought it was a typo!

  3. This cruise has something I've never seen before. It has an overnight in San Francisco but it arrives at 1 pm right smack in the middle of the Fleet Week shows! Might be really fun, but will be crowded in SF that day. I will be on the Grand Princess boarding for another Cal Coastal when the Fleet week activities begin, but I cant imagine being actually on the other ship going under the Golden Gate then entering the Bay with all the Military ships and the Blue Angels Fly-Over......will watch and see!!

  4. Just a quick note, In Ensenada, Mexico there is a "Sears" owned store that is actually a discount outlet for Estee Lauder...found it an accident last cruise, and it was about half the price of the ship. Enjoyed a free makeover too!!

  5. So you're saying the if you go on the trip by yourself the cost would be $0 ?

    No catches of gimmicks?

Did you take advantage of it?

No. It is a cruise for 2, so I do have to pay port fees & taxes of approx. $140 per person depending on the cruise I choose. But still, great deal!

  6. I'm not sure of how much you have to lose but we received the same offer by mistake on the last trip. It was delivered to our mail box in error.

We didn't notice the wrong name & went to the Capt Circle host to "collect" but obviously couldn't. :D

I suspect it is one free cruise provided you book the other at regular rates (not really sure) plus you have additional port & taxes to be added on. If that's the way they give out the free cruise then it's not that great a deal considering the discounts most people get anyway.

No its not. I won pretty big in the casino though, no BOGO or any catches. I think they just want a chance to win back the money I won....:)
