Yes Thank you Nancy!! I'm on that next cruise for Dec 20, and I am concerned even though my roll call doesn't seem to be!
-
I have always been able to book them right away. Never had a stand by situation.
-
Never again will we take a Spring Break cruise on Carnival. Once was enough.
AMEN to that! Been there...done that and no thanks!

I have some of best cruise memories on Sitmar
Me too! I miss Sitmar daily!!

That will be a crazy-crowded and noisy weekend in San Francisco but quite fun for those who enjoy the excitement that Fleet Week always brings. I am surprised that the Star will be coming into port at that hour because there usually are hundreds of sailboats and motorcraft in the bay during special events like this. It should be lots of fun.
Me too!!! I thought it was a typo!

This cruise has something I've never seen before. It has an overnight in San Francisco but it arrives at 1 pm right smack in the middle of the Fleet Week shows! Might be really fun, but will be crowded in SF that day. I will be on the Grand Princess boarding for another Cal Coastal when the Fleet week activities begin, but I cant imagine being actually on the other ship going under the Golden Gate then entering the Bay with all the Military ships and the Blue Angels Fly-Over......will watch and see!!

Just simply play in the casino. I'm leaving in 21 days on a free cruise that was given to me by the casino host. (1 week, 2 people, no charge except port fees).
-
Just wondering what movies were playing for Movies under the Stars and what entertainment options were onboard. We haven't got the email yet telling us the entertainment options!
-
Fun fun Fun ...even if you dont dress up!!
:D

Just a quick note, In Ensenada, Mexico there is a "Sears" owned store that is actually a discount outlet for Estee Lauder...found it an accident last cruise, and it was about half the price of the ship. Enjoyed a free makeover too!!
-
It could be worse, at least you are in San Francisco!!
-
Great new pier, big improvements over the last one. So many porters available, almost had to fight them off! lol...My DH is disabled and uses a cane so the porters were literally lining up to assist us!
-
No question. I would choose SF for the 10 day...that cruise was one of my favorites! Sail out under the Golden Gate Bridge, one of life's pleasures!
-
I was wondering: how much do you have to gamble (win? lose?) to get a deal like that?;)
No loss..BIG WIN!:)
-
My best deal was recent as of last Saturday April 11th while onboard the Star Princess I was given a free 7 day cruise by the casino manager. $140 due in port fees per person, that's it!! DEAL!
-
Excellent cruise and ship! Just back last Sunday! Please read my member review:)
-
Just call Princess, I have always been given the difference in $$$ as onboard credit. Never have had a problem. They refer to it as customer goodwill.
-
Go with the Ruby!
-
Don't worry the casinos will be open!:)
-
No, I'm speaking of the Golden Princess. We have a cruise booked for the May 22, 2015 sailing. I think it's completely booked now. BTW, this cruise it stops in Haines, we've never been to Haines.
Don't get too excited! Its a mom and pop port.....pretty funny!
-
are you able to tell me if they offer the unlimited internet package like they did on the Regal ? if so, how much was it? (for how many nights)
Sorry, no I'm not. I go on cruises to get away from the internet..LOL
-
So you're saying the if you go on the trip by yourself the cost would be $0 ?
No catches of gimmicks?
Did you take advantage of it?
No. It is a cruise for 2, so I do have to pay port fees & taxes of approx. $140 per person depending on the cruise I choose. But still, great deal!
-
I'm not sure of how much you have to lose but we received the same offer by mistake on the last trip. It was delivered to our mail box in error.
We didn't notice the wrong name & went to the Capt Circle host to "collect" but obviously couldn't. :D
I suspect it is one free cruise provided you book the other at regular rates (not really sure) plus you have additional port & taxes to be added on. If that's the way they give out the free cruise then it's not that great a deal considering the discounts most people get anyway.
No its not. I won pretty big in the casino though, no BOGO or any catches. I think they just want a chance to win back the money I won....:)

Just off the Star on Sunday, both DH and my mattresses were fine, no issues.
