Solstice August 2019 From Seattle. Excellent Cruise!

We are on the cruise along with you and finally made it to our stateroom. We’re two of the seniors you saw come on board. Looking forward to your posts.

🙏 Praying for all associated with this cruise! 🙏

Shouldn't be a problem. Just did the same on the Valor.

Thanks for the review. Well Done. Did you have a flat screen in your stateroom? How was the coffee?

Just wondering oin your thoughts
Recommend Hampton Inn Ft Lauderdale Airport Cruise Port at 2301 SW 12th Ave. Have stayed there several times pre-cruise. Good location with close proximity to the cruise port.
-
Just off the Liberty on Saturday also. Lights dimmed, no table clothes, good variety of food. Good change of pace from dining room.

Enjoyed your video. Was this a Go Pro?

Has anyone cruised from Cape Liberty? What time are passengers usually off the ship? Is a 12:00 flight out of Newark too early if we are planning to take a cab to the airport?
Save yourself some anxiety. Try to get a later flight.:)

If you have mobility issues, they will board you on a lower level. Just ask.

Agree this is an awful situation, and I dread to think what the parents are currently feeling.
I only mentioned convening at muster station as technically that is the convening point for emergencies, and is specicifically set up to take roll in an organized and quick manner. I also appreciate that going to cabins is less stressful for passengers, I just felt that it may be more time consuming.
Whilst I am glad 2 of the 3 missing people have been accounted for, I still pray for the 16 year old.
While you are at your muster station, they are systematically checking staterooms.

The Liberty is one of the largest cruise ships in the world. A headcount is the staterooms is more systematic and organized.

Has Royal Caribbean changed recently about giving lanyards and pins to returning Crown and Anchor Members? They use to have them in the room upon your arrival. My daughter just came off the Allure of the Seas and this is her 4th cruise aboard Royal Caribbean and she said that they didn't have them in the room like previous cruises.
No lanyard, no pin, no RCCL love either.

Hi All,
I just booked a cruise for November 9th on the Dream from New Orleans and need your help.
Has anyone travelled out of New Orleans? Flying in the day before and not sure where to stay or how close the port is to the city. I'd like to visit the French Quarter - hotel and transportation suggestions to port the next day would be appreciated.
Also wondering how to book the Cloud Spa as I am going solo and didn't have the money for anything but a regular room.
Finally, has anyone done the Chefs Table on the Dream? Thinking of booking that too.
Any other ideas and can't misses would be appreciated
I am so excited I can't wait :D
Stayed at Hampton Inn New Orleans Convention Center a couple of years ago. Very convenient. Close to the port. Easy access to Riverwalk and casino. New Orleans is fairly easy to get around.

We usually only cruise balcony rooms or Family insides, but there is a great deal for next October for all 3 of us to cruise on Oasis in a JS for $3,400. I know they are not technically a suite, so what are the advantages?
It's worth it just to avoid the tiny showers in the Balcony staterooms. We're in our mid 60's and we enjoyed the tub/shower.

1st time on RCCL. Just booked a family trip on Grandeur of the Seas out of Baltimore for summer 2015. 2 adults, 3 kids 14,12 and 8 at the time of sailing. What can I expect?

The Grandeur is a good ship. The crew are nice and very friendly. We enjoyed the dining room but also did the specialty restaurants which were also nice. The ship is not large therefore it is easy to get around and find the things you like. We cruised on her last year and will be on her again in October. She is an older ship so don't expect the fancy things that are on the larger newer ships. Did not have children with us so I cannot comment on youth activities, but the adults should find it relaxing and enjoyable.

Would you rather fly to FLL
To take a newer ship? after rewarding about the fire etc and that it was built in mid 90's not sure how appealing it will be if we do LOS six months before.. Plus doesn't appear to have five nights anymore out of Baltimore and 8 is too long.
The money we save on the airline tickets to Florida is used to upgrade our GOS experience from Baltimore.;)

Thinking about this ship next Thanksgiving. Anyone have any opinions? Also just heard Romos out with a back injury. Thanks.
Cruised to Bermuda in October. Really enjoyed the cruise. Considering her again next October 2014.:)

Making RSVP for the Allure.. Biggest we've been on is Voyager class and down... Concerned about crowds, chair hogs by pool, waiting in lines for food. Should we be, or am I overly concerned? We tend to have fun wherever we go, but this ship is HUGE!
Please advise and let me know what we SHOULD worry about... thanks in advance!
Don't worry. They really know how to handle all of these folks. The only concern would be if you have trouble walking - these ship are hugh!

Celebrity is just a little bit classier. The food, the service and the activities are just a step up from RC.

We're interested in hearing any Pride do's and don'ts also. Will be on cruising on her in April.
