We are also on board this cruise,  we are calling it the ghost cruise!!  No lines anywhere! In a retreat cabana.  In Cano we did an excellent sailing excursion, in Matzalan did an excursion to stone island with lunch and in PV sent to an all inclusive resort.
we have seen room stewards much more than other cruise,. People are complying with masks and it hasn’t hampered our experience at all.  4th floor is closed off for Covid quarantine but have t heard one way or another,  all activities are going on.  So glad we decided to come and enjoy our selves. Ate in Tamirand restaurant for first time, very good!  No problem getting reservations wherever you want to eat or at any time you want!  Going to Pinnacle grill Saturday night.

Haven’t been on Princess for a dozen years, was wondering if anyone knew when the Jan 2021 12 to 14 day from Singapore, Malaysia’ and Thailand cruise will be open for booking? Thx

We too are going on our first RCCL this Dec. Friends we met on the Europe Equinox convinced us. As far as comparing cruise lines, my DH likes Princess because around 10 pm he can go to the MUTS (not to watch the movie) but to grab a bag of popcorn! So everyone has their preferences!! Are you going to ALA in Las Vegas this year? I was, but we are too busy at the library in the summer to get away. I too enjoy checking out the libraries on cruise ships! Maybe we will bump into each other again while in one! We never really are off the job are we? Thanks again for the great review/pics.

I certainly remember meeting you!! That was a lovely gathering in Stephen & Tom's beautiful penthouse. I am definitely trying to emphasize my perspective in this review; there is really nothing negative to say about Azamara as the cruisewas faultless in terms of service, food and experience delivered as advertised (well, maybe except for that bathroom!) but that doesn't mean that it is to everyone's taste.

Hi Sandi, thanks for your review! We met briefly on the Summit in Dec 10. I am also a library director but was late to the Penthouse party so we didn't really get a chance to chat! It is strange about cruise prices! We went on the Equinox from Barcelona for 12 days last Oct and was in AQ and the price was $600 pp less with drink package included than what you paid. It is so confusing at times! Also thanks for reminding everyone that what is important to one person on a cruise can be completely different than what another may have emphasis on. That is what is great about having the opportunity to try different lines! But I figure I'm so lucky to cruise at all, that I try and keep my negatives to a minimum. You are doing a great job in your review of mentioning items that you liked/disliked based on what you both like to experience. Your pics are great and hope to meet you and spend more time with you on a future cruise!!! ~Glynis

I'd get 2 rooms at the Regencia Colon, great location near the Cathedral and close to Hop On/Hop off bus and Las Rambas.

THANK YOU!!! (how was it that you were able to get off the ship that early? Did you carry off your own luggage?) Wooo CC readers must think I'm paranoid...Nope, just read too many "bad experiences".

We put down our departure flight for 1050 am and were giving #20 departure tickets that were to meet at 0740 for get off the ship. Our friends gave us #3 that was meeting at 0640. As we had the LONG wait at the airport for the check in desk to even open, the 0740 would have been just fine!!!!! And I could have slept longer :)

Just came back on 1 Nov. Had a 1050 flight. Go to the airport so early had to wait for the ticket agent check in to open for an hour and half! Got off the ship at 6:45 am, was at the airport within the half hour by taxi. Just get off the ship early, no problems, plenty of taxis lined up.

Hmmm ... part of the reason to upgrade from classic to premium was that we had read some great reviews of the Molecular Bar and its innovative drinks. But the drinks there are not included in the premium package?

 

I know with the classic, if you want a drink that costs more than the "classic" price, you have to pay full price for it (you can't just pay the difference). Is that true for the premium package as well?

We were just on the Celebrity Equinox with the premium package and really enjoyed the Molecular bar (included!)
