Thank You!
Really enjoyed you review. We started on NCL in 1982 and did 5 cruises then did 1 Royal went back for 1 more on NCL and now are about to go on our 15th Royal cruise next week.
Very interesting to hear the comparison.
Thanks again.

We went on our 1st cruise for our honeymoon in 1983. It was awesome! I have seen a picture of that ship recently online (NCL MS Southward) it looked like a tugboat. We thought it was huge (it held 750 passengers). It was an awesome time!! We have gone on 21 cruises and have gone with many 1st timers.
Always love seeing their reactions. We have NEVER had a bad cruise. As in life it is what you make of it.

We are sailing on Enchantment in April.
Does anyone know what time the muster drill would be.
I was thinking usually around 4:30 or 5?
Thanks

Thanks so much!
I was on the phone with Royal for over an hour (on hold most of the time) and go no answer.
Thanks again, Jim

I am sailing on the Enchantment in April.
I am a RCCL shareholder, but have not used shareholder benefits for many years, because I had always used Next Cruise Certificate.
What would the OBC be for a 4 day cruise, and how do I apply?
Thanks for your help.

We sail exactly 1 year from today on Allure! It will be our 3rd time on Allure.
Can't wait to get back on board.

You can do it either way

We just got off Indy last Sunday.
We did the Luggage Valet.
$20 per person. They take your luggage from outside your room the last night, and the next time you see it is at your home airport. They also print your boarding passes and deliver them to your room.
I felt it was well worth it. It made our last day much easier.
You need to sign up early in the cruise though.

Thank you! This was a great way to forget about the weather here in Wisconsin, and focus on our upcoming cruise over Easter on Allure.

Sailed on the Southward on honeymoon in November 1983 and again in January 1985.
Sandy Mc Nichol was the cruise director. He and his staff were awesome!
My wife and I are going on our 16th cruise Feb 28th on Adventure of the Seas.

Went on The Carnival Sensation in October '04. It was a 4 day cruise.
At dinner on the first night, I took a bite of a dinner roll and my bridge work fell out! It was 3 teeth in the front. Now I have no tooth in the front right and 2 ground down rotting stubs which were what was supose to be holding the bridge. It looked hideous!!!
There was no dentist on staff, so I went to a dentist in cozumel two days later. he glued it, but it only lasted 24 hours.
The saving grace was that the cruise was over Halloween! I just said it was part of my costume!
It goes without saying, I go to the dentist right before each cruise now to get my teeth cleaned AND OH BY THE WAY DOC, CHECK MY BRIDGE WORK AND BE SURE IT IS TIGHT!

We sailed on the Southward on our honeymoon. It was our first cruise in November, 1983. We loved it so much we booked it again in January, 1985. The cruise director was awesome, Sandy Mc Nichol from Scotland. I was told many years later by a captain that he owns and operates a pub in Scotland.
We didn't cruise for 12 years after the '85 cruise (we had 2 kids) but are leaving next week on our 15th.
