We are headed on a cruise out of Civitavecchia on July 15. We fly into Rome a day early. Looking for suggestions for hotels and also for transportation from a hotel to the cruise port. Thank you!

There is an awesome bucket list Greek Isles and Italy cruise on the Breakaway July 15-25, 2023. Cruises out of Civitavecchia. There is a great deal that ends today with free air for the second passenger. We will be coming from Buffalo, NY. I’ve been reading pros and cons on whether to take advantage of this great promo. Anyone have any insight or experience with using NCL air to go to Rome? Do they fly you in the same day as the cruise or day before? Would you do it?

I need to make a decision today!

We were on the Bliss May 5-12. We had a mini suite and used our balcony frequently. Temps ranged from the 40’s to 70’s. We spent most of our time in Glacier Bay on our balcony wearing our wind/rain proof jackets. It was very calm and sunny that day. The scenery is gorgeous and so glad we had a balcony. 

We were on deck 9 above the theater. No issues of noise at all. 

We were on the Bliss May 5-12. I booked the 10:30 arrival. No one verified that in any way at the port. Embarkation was super easy and quick. Our cabin was ready by noon and luggage arrived shortly after that. Very impressed!

We were on the Bliss May 3-12. We spent most of the time on our balcony while in Glacier Bay. It was in the upper 40’s and very calm. I suggest, if you can, to view the gorgeous views from your balcony.

Looking for pros and cons of this hotel. Cruising on NCL Bliss in May. Flying in 2 days before cruise so we can explore Seattle. Good location to cruise port and attractions?

We are sailing on the Bliss on 5/5 to Alaska. Looking at the dinner dining options in the main dining rooms, do we need to book those times in advance? Or can we go to dinner when we want to?

Didn't you have to choose a date to receive the on board credit? I just redeemed points and I had to choose a date on the cruise to receive the credit. I chose the first full day of the cruise. Typically, you will get a note in your stateroom notifying you of the credit.

There is a Walgreens across from Bayside. It is within walking distance from the Holiday Inn or Intercontinental.

Just make sure to go talk to the maitre'd in the dining room when you board. Look in your Funtimes for the specific time.

You need to sign on the carnival website using your VIFP number. Then click on the bottom left for VIFP special offers. If you qualify, it will be listed. That's where ours was.

I am looking for a pre-cruise hotel on 5/23/14. I wanted Hyatt Place on 17th Street in Fort Lauderdale but there aren't any rooms available on their website.

Has anyone stayed at Holiday Inn Express on 17th Street? We are just looking for a hotel with airport shuttle, possible breakfast, and near restaurants/grocery or drug store. Thanks!

We've cruised with him 3 times. My husband and I think he is the best CD we have had on all our cruises.

Our next cruise on July 3rd is our 10th cruise - platinum! My husband has celiac disease. We go to the dining room on embarkation day to talk to the maitre'd and hostess. Who do I contact about the surprise treats in our cabin?

Great pictures! Thanks for the pictures of the Fascination balconies. I was wondering where they were on the ship.

I think those cabins you are referring to are obstructed. Usually the lifeboat is below so you wouldn't be able to see below your balcony. But you would be able to look out at sea.
