Arrived in Barbados at 5:30 this morning and took a nice nap.

We are also flying from JFK next week to Barbados next week and any comments about the ship or ports will be appreciated.

I am on the Quest right now and asked the future cruise lady Friday what is going on with the cruise. Today she said she heard from Miami that they are looking at a change in ports for this cruise and have blocked bookings until this is straighten out.

P.S. This weekend the Formula 1 race is here in Austin. Last year we had 8 inches of rain that weekend but this weekend the weather is great.

I am in cabin 6146 on the 11/2 cruise- next to ph 6148. If you are our neighbor we can become best friends. On the 11/14 we are up on 11 in an Aqua cabin.

ZOOM 2022-

I drove to Lynn Canyon from downtown 2 years ago and it took about 20 minutes. The park was great, in the middle of a rain-forest, and the suspension bridge was fun to walk on. Also it was free!

We are doing this again on the 19th and plan to drive on to Shannon Falls near Squamish that day. We also did that in 2006 and the drive is beautiful and the walk to the falls easy from the parking lot. It is an additional 30 minutes or so from Lynn Canyon.

We will be in Vancouver for 2 days pre-cruise in September and our daughter wants to spend one day going to Butchart Gardens and Victoria. I saw that tours from Vancouver are very pricey and was suprised that the ferry doesn't leave from either city but docks far from town. Any ideas?

Last visit to Vancouver we spend a wonderful day driving to Lynn Canyon park and then on to Whistler. On the way back to Vancouver we stopped at a park with a great waterfall. I would love to repeat this but our daughter is pushing for Victoria.
