  1. I am currently having a terrible experience getting my Carnival on board credits for a cruise that disembarks on Feb. 22nd. I sent two faxes before my Travel agent found out that Cunard is not in the office to receive the faxes. I sent an email on Jan. 22 after spending three weeks faxing back and forth.

As of yesterday still no credit as been posted to my account.

My travel agent is now working with her manager and Cunard to get it posted.

It really takes the joy of going on my first cruise in two years because of the pandemic.

  2. Barclay Card is still having problems with posting double points. I just looked at my Visa statement and I saw that my Princess purchase did not have the correct 2x points. I called Barclay and was told that they know that their is a problem and they are trying to fix it. I now have to await until my next statement to get the correct points.

  3. Yes We did it last year. We did the Queen Mary to Southampton, did a British Isles cruises from there, went to London for a few days and then came back to Southampton for a TA doing Norway and Iceland before arriving in New York. Would do it again in a heartbeat. It was wonderful not having to fly.

  4. Hello

I am trying to come up with a plan as to what to do in So. Hampton in August before we board the Royal for a British Isles cruise. We would like to see some of the sites that are away from So. Hampton as Salisbury, Stonehedge and Winchester and Bath. We will be disembarking the Queen Mary 2 on August 11 and going on the Royal on the 13th. We were trying to consider what to do on disembarkment day. We have reservations at the Premier Inn West Quay, we would drop our luggage and off we go. We will not have a car so we would have to rely on public transportation or private tours. You suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Thank you

  5. We are booked on the Royal for the October 11th voyage was wondering if anyone knows how far out they start to issue cabins??? When we booked only the guaranteed balcony cabins were available. We never booked this way before so not sure if I'm too happy with it.

    Any info is greatly appreciated!!!!:)

Hi we are also on that cruise. The only time I had a quarantee was last cruise and we didn't know until 3 days before but it was a fabulous upgrade we went from an inside to a balcony at the back of the ship.
