So unfortunate, we were on an MSC cruise with a group of about 200, it was a legends of rock cruise for our group.  The original drummer for the band Boston passed away on stage of a heart attack, he was playing the drums when it happened, very tragic for his band mates, his wife and all of us in the group, sorry for this persons family on your cruise right now.

We have no idea if someone did pass away or just got sick? Just didn't look good with all the suits and body fluid clean up

  2. We about 45 minutes from Jamaica. Complaint...the bar on the balcony always covers the horizon. So you see water and sky never land. This was not thought out well. Need taller deck chairs. And in other news we think a guest may have passed away yesterday. In the Frenched named theater I left to go to the rest roommate and 2 crew were standing above a guest on the ground. It all happened so fast. I did see a EKG or whatever? Machine next to the person. We also heard a distress call over head. As I was leaving here came atleast a dozen men in dark suits walking fast and EMTs pushing a stretcher also. Then they shunned me out of the area. When I go outside there was a whole group of parents waiting to get inside for the kids club show. When I was finally able to return I saw several crew doing a body fluid clean up process of many paper towels being sprayed with a solution and I saw a 6" of blood. The paper towels were 6 feet by 6 feet area. The over the loud speaker we heard then call a quest name to go to this area. Sorry if typos. In in the sun on a balcony

Yes.  Here is a recent menu from the seashore.  You can get multiple appetizers and desserts without an additional charge.

    Hi

As last option you can purchase a streaming internet package... but I have been all major events are broadcasted on MSC.

    Good luck

(If you wanna more basket, these weeks you have on Tuesday to Friday, Euroleague quarter finals. They play by 15:00 Miami time)

Yes we have one streaming device included in out package but I was hoping to watch in the sports bar

I usually book our flights as soon after booking a cruise as I can.  I am always afraid that if I wait, I'll get stuck with bad seats on the plane.

I also book as soon as I can any pre or post cruise hotel reservations.

I never ever buy a seat on a plane let them assign me one. Usually end up up front and if I don't. So what I'll be on a cruise in a day

Since you are not in yacht club, the mini fridge is not included. If you remove an item and do not get it replaced before your room steward takes his inventory, you just bought a drink. Best bet would be to have room steward remove items in fridge and replace with items from bars.

I can have them remove items? This I will do. Then my question is can I get cans if beer and request them NOT opened sonI can have some cabin drinks.

But as mentioned, this may be moot as we don't know if the OP is in YC.

I am not. I'm fantastica. Can I get some beers from a bar or does the bar insist on opening them? I'd like to store up a balcony 6 pack.

Yep.  Typically arriving from FL in Jamaica, you travel west along the northern coast of Jamaica, which will be on your port side until you dock.  Leaving Jamaica for Grand Cayman you typically approach from the south, which would have GC on your starboard until you turn into port. From there to Cozumel, your approach would have Cozumel back on your port side as you are usually coming from the north. Not sure if you are headed to Coast Maya or not, but if so, that will be on your starboard as you approach from the north.  Either way, enjoy your cruise!

Clockwise Port Canaveral to Nassau to Jamaica to GC to Cozumel and back to Port Canaveral

Which of course may be correct for your particular itinerary.  But that can be different for different itineraries and would necessarily not be accurate as a general statement.  And to be correct, "left" is "port", and "right" would be "starboard".

Not challenging you, but often in our experience when arriving from Jamaica to Grand Cayman, the first sighting can be on starboard as you typically approach from the south side, but as you turn into George Town, the approach is bow on to your tender location in port.  Just saying that in can vary and ship side stateroom selection is not always a island approach certainty.

Now that I look at the map closer you are right. It looks like grand Caymen will be on the RIGHT side of the ship arriving. 3 of 5 land views still better than. 2 of 5.

Thanks for responding. Of course it can be different from another itinerary because it would be completely different countries. From the map it surely looks like Jamaica will be on the left/port? side of the ship for miles to the entire way to port. Unless the ship travels backwards for 50 miles. I understand the ship doesn't travel 300 yards from land the whole way giving me this 2 hour view of land.

I travel from Port Canaveral to Bahamas (sea view) to Jamaica (land view) to Grand Caymen (land view) to Cozumel (land View) and Florida coast on the return (land view) Again this is just looking at my itinerary map arrows and assuming the ship doesn't travel in reverse.
