Can anyone tell me of their experience parking in a private lot close to the cruise terminal. Is it worth it to save the extra bucks? is it easy? Wouldn't want to park more than 3/4 blocks away. Reserve in advance?

Thank for all the replys. Leaving from NYC on Norwegian. Glad to know that the 20 year old can get in a club and thanks about the waiver info - will read up on that.

Can a 20 year old drink on a ship or go to a club? We will be leaving from a US port.

I am flying into FLL and cruising from Miami. so it sounds like I may have some luck in Miami?

We usually stop and pick up a couple of bottles of wine before boarding. Our flight comes in at (:45 and I was told Florida laws don't sell wine till 1:00 on Sundays. Does anyone know if this also applies to the airport?

Our flight comes into FLL at 9:45 AM. What time can we board the Carnival Breeze? Do not have FTTF.

I would just like to do a beach day in Cozumel - family of four with 2 kids aged 17 and 20. Probably not interested in an all inclusive ($220/ family + taxi seems high). Was planning on Paradise beach, but read some reviews about murky water - but I think that may have been due to a recent storm. Anyone have comments about water at beach?
Also - how is the non all inclusive side at Mr. Sanchos?
Any other beach ideas?

Its practically across the street from what I remember. Very easy and cheaper to take a quick taxi ride.

I like 7 and 8 nighters the best, but have enjoyed 4 and 6 night cruises too. I guess it all depends on the ships/ports/pricing in comparing the two. What are the choices?
6 Day is on Breeze (newer ship) Ocho Rios, Grand Caymen and Cozumel.
7 day is on Valor to Cozumel, Roatan, Belize and Costa Maya. What I don't like about this one is that I've been on the Liberty and Conquest, and the Valor is practically the same ship! I feel like a want to try a different class of ship.
Pretty much decided on the 6 day Breeze!:)

We have always been on week long cruises (Sat-Sat or Sun-Sun). I am planning a last minute cruise and I am limited to when I can go. The itinerary I like the most is a 6 day cruise (Sunday-Saturday). I know on our week long cruises we don't want it to end. Will 1 day less feel that much shorter? My kids are already saying pick a week long cruise even if the itinerary is not as good!

We have sailed on the Conquest and Liberty, and are looking into the Valor. Is it the Valor the same type of ship as the Conquest and Liberty? When we went on the Conquest it had the Guy Fieri Burger Bar and the burrito bar. Seems like the Valor may not have that. I enjoyed the Conquest and Liberty, but not sure I want to go on same type ship again.
Also looking into the Breeze, but its only a 6 day cruise. I know it just 1 day less than a week, but a week seems to go so fast!

We used SAS Transport a few years ago and they were great. When we last used them the driver had no problem making a stop at a liquor store for us to buy wine and soda. Does anyone know if they still are willing to make stops?

We are sailing the same itinerary July 20. Can's wait to hear more. I haven't booked any shore excursions yet and am interested to hear what you did in ports.

Thanks for all the advice. It looks like I will have to book a more expensive flight to go home. OH well!

We are coming into the port of Miami on Carnival, and was wondering if it would be possible to make a 10:55 AM flight in Fort Lauderdale to go home.
My T.A. said Carnival says to book flights after 11:30. Does a 1/2 hour earlier make a difference?
This is the best non-stop flight at a good price. Anyone have experience with booking flights around 11 AM and making it ok?

Can anyone tell me if there is a basketball court on the Conquest? My son and DH love basketball. Two other cruises we have been on both have had basketball courts. Anyone know?

We (me, DH, DS-12, and DD-9)are booked for the traditional early (6:00) dining on the Caribbean Princess. Now after reading up on other dining options, I am wondering if the anytime dining would be more suited for a family. We have never cruised and my travel agent advised me that traditional is nice because you have the same waiter nightly and he gets to know your likes and dislikes.
It sounds like anytime dining may be good if kids are interested in activities going on and you may not be able to make iti to dinner at 6:00.
I would like the kids to eat at least a few dinners together with us.
Is the food the same in both dining options?
What time do shows start to work dinner around?
Any input is greatly appreciated!:)
