Blanton is beautiful. It's absolutely top shelf and retails about 57-65 for the 750ml. But it's not the price it's the taste that sets it apart. Do you know if that fell in the $13 price cap? Even if it doesn't thanks for the tip!

Blanton's is my single barrel of choice. I am guessing it would not make the $13 either. Now if they want to go really high end maybe some Pappy's is in order, that will never happen. It is already snatched up and sold on the secondary market as soon as it comes out. It all comes down to how they can make the most money at the end of the day.

Most of our cruises have been during hurricane season and have been lucky. We talked to the Captain once about storms and he said they will go around when they can and stay in the sunshine if possible. The main reason....they sell more adult beverages when it's sunny and hot. Oh, it's safer too.

We have bought Sheridans on our last three cruises and for tequila we always get true Mexican tequila, I want nothing that's made for the U.S. It's usually cheaper and much better!

Embassy Suites is a nice choice and have stayed there often. Great breakfast and lots of places within walking distance. We use their shuttle and never have had a problem. Managers reception and the staff is great.

Put me down for another vote for Embassy, we have always had a wonderful time there and it will be full of cruisers. Meet some new friends before getting on! If you go out very early in the morning and go to the correct side of the building, you can see the ship docked in the dark.
Lots of places to get last minute items close and a wine store next door. Breakfast is very good, ready to eat and fresh made omelets. We do the room with transportation rate and have always been on the ship at a decent time with no hassles. They have a great pool and plenty of room-even with a nearly full hotel.
Enjoy you trip!

We have always tipped room service and many times they have been completely surprised. So it seems a lot of people don't. I would rather give them something rather than assume they get it. I consider room service a perk and extra so why not tip. And you know the person gets to keep the cash!

Look up the reviews on here for Stay123, not a good choice based on what people are posting.

We parked at the Port parking lot and it is super easy and reasonable. They have an area to get all your luggage together and tagged if needed and drive up drop off for luggage. Several lanes to pay and plenty of parking for all. Leaving the ship is easy as well as long as you remember where you parked! Walked off and away you go.:)

Johnny rockets is a great place for breakfast, we ate there most mornings on our b2b on oasis. Sadly the worst day for WJ is the last day as most other venues are closed. Horrible lines, had to search for plates and utensils and very few items to choose from.

What a great review and posting the pics. I am guessing it would be a great thing to say you did and would have to be a deal like you said to do it again.
God bless you and your family and i'm sure Allie is with you on every cruise.
Just for fun, what is the single worst thing you have seen a carnival cruiser doing?

This tends to be a European thing. We have seen it several times on a ship and/or at the beach. Keep in mind that Americans tend to be prudish when it comes to nudity, Europeans not so much.
