The countdown has begun! I'm jumping out of my skin with excitement. Serenity's inaugural will be a tough act to follow but I know Symphony can do it, especially with Russ Grieve as Cruise Director, the entertainment team under Keith Cox and the most incredible crew on the seven seas. CANNOT WAIT!!!!

We seem to be doing the same cruises and I agree with your review 100%. Crystal is back better than EVER. People said it would never be the same. I always thought it could even be better and much to my surprise it IS!!! Looking forward to Symphony inaugural- first 3 segments then back to Serenity Nov 13- Dec 2 then Jan 18. Can’t wait!!!

In my opinion, Crystal is BACK, better than EVER! Everyone has different priorities on a cruise. Mine are food, service, and entertainment. All were OUTSTANDING. It didn't seem possible but Waterside and Umi Uma were even better then before. Mixed reviews on the Italian restaurant. They may need wider offerings to appeal to most. It definitely is not Prego. The ice cream was to die for (hopefully not literally). Bruce McGill's lectures were fabulous, Bruce Hammond's crooning in multiple venues was fantastic, John Joseph was more hilarious than ever, and the production shows had even more talent and energy than before. The Showband under Raphael's direction is absolutely brilliant. The duo and Carlos at the guitar and Cove pianist Scott and Joel Spire in the Avenue- all great. I asked newcomers their opinion and everyone loved it. This was my 63rd Crystal cruise and I have many more booked. No need for me to try the other lines anymore. The wonderful crew makes Crystal the most heartfelt, welcoming luxurious experience at sea beyond all expectations. Can't wait for Symphony inaugural. Hope to see you on board.

Just used Blacklane a few days ago from my home to LAX and back. No problems but the driver met me outside, not inside with a sign with my name as I was told. Also, he said he never heard of Silversea!!!

Are there formal nights on a 10-day cruise in the Med with no sea days? Just returned from the Moon in Northern Europe for 10 days. There were 2 formal nights but e had 2 sea days.

You must see my friend Allan Rich's show. I met him last November on an amazing Crystal cruise to Tahiti. We've become friends and he took me to some pre-Oscar and Golden Globes events last week. Awesome!!!! Enjoy your cruise.

Hi- I also travel solo because my husband doesn't like to cruise. You either have the gene or you don't! I just returned from my 25th Crystal cruise (the last 8 solo) and it was the BEST EVER! I'm planning to go on Regents new Explorer Feb 3 r/t Miami and Seabourn's new Encore July 1 from Amsterdam to Barcelona just to try new ships, but my Crystal cruises have been wonderful. When I started traveling solo I didn't want to fly far either, but now I don't mind at all, especially if I use the cruise line's air program. If you like the luxury lines, you'll love them solo(price notwithstanding). Enjoy!
