  1. Someone mentioned a few days ago about only seeing the photo links, and having to click on each. I've recently found out that if I am are not logged in, I see the actual pictures. If I am logged in, I get the link. It just started doing that for me about three months ago, and I was getting frustrated. If I was keeping up with a review with lots of pictures, it was annoying to click on each one to see it. Somehow, I figured out what the problem was. I hope this helps someone else. Great Review!!!

  2. We were thinking about getting the RC credit card to get the $100 onboard credit and then never use t after. Has anyone done this? Is this a bad idea somehow?

My husband and I both got the card. We had two upcoming cruises, and we used the $100 from each card on each cruise. We did use the each card for a gasoline purchase to show some activity, but haven't used them since. We will eventually close them. It was easy to have the $100 applied to each cruise.

  3. We are going to be in Portland, Rockland, and Bar Harbor Maine, Halifax, Prince Edward Island, and Sydney the middle of September. We've never been in this part of the country before. We have always cruised the Caribbean. When we are in the ports, will there be shopping (commericial and/or native) at the ports, like in the Caribbean? We don't normally do excursions and just enjoy walking around the shopping areas. In doing my research and checking out Tom's Port Guides, it looks like there might not be much to shop at, like the ports I'm familiar with. Thanks!

  4. We were on the Caribbean Princess about four years ago. In the 24 hour cafe, we had Decadent Chocolate, which was like a rich, thick pudding. My husband loved it, and has talked about it ever since. We are going to be on the Emerald in December. One of the reasons for picking a Princess cruise was the possibility that it might be there. Has anyone been on the Emerald recently and seen it?

    Thanks!

  5. We are getting off the Explorer of the Seas in November and going to Epcot for several days. Does anyone have suggestions on getting from the port to a Disney hotel? I've thought of a taxi or shuttle to get to the airport, then take Disney's bus to the hotel. We used Disney's bus a few years ago when we flew in, but this time we will have our luggage and hate to haul it to the airport, then to the arrival area to pick up their bus. Ideally, I'd like to go directly to the Disney hotel, but have found out the taxi's are the most expensive way. I hate to rent a car and then have it sit for several days. Any suggestions? Thanks!
