1. My kids (5&2) both loved the Blue Lagoon dolphin encounter. Can't compare to Atlantis, but the experience on Blue Lagoon Island was terrific. Beautiful beach, everything is close by, friendly staff. Excellent option for smaller kids.

2. We chose to do the KSC excursion with RCL. It was a bit pricier than an Uber, but we didn't have to worry about car seats. Also, since there is a limited amount of time, the ship excursion allows you to bypass the main entrance, and the bus goes directly to the launch pads.

Was just in Blue Lagoon last week. They accept both US currency and credit cards with no issues. Conversion rate is 1:1. Credit card does charge a foreign transaction fee.

The excursions also include the bus ride, not just the admission which means there is usually a charge. Sometimes there is a discounted rate for kids which could be based off the admission prices, not really sure about that part.

 

Not sure if this applies to these particular excursions, but sometimes there is a minimum age to participate. So you also need to check if your youngest is old enough for the excursions which should be listed on the website.

Thanks. I'm fine with paying for the transportation, however, admission is $43 and and the dolphin encounter is $115 so if I can save that, all the better.

Have you tried to actually book the excursion online? Sometimes once you book it and start specifying the other people in your reservation it automatically adjusts for youth pricing. You will see the final price before supplying your credit card order. If its wrong, try booking it with a phone customer service rep and see if they can book it for the kids.

We will be on the October 28th sailing of the Anthem with two kids (5&2). We are interested in the ships excursion to Kennedy Space Center. The price listed on the website is $64 for children including admission. However, children under 3 are free at the space center. Do I still have to pay the full child price for the two year old? Also, is this tour a guided tour that goes directly to the launch pads and not just the entrance gate? Thanks!

ETA: Same question for the Blue Lagoon Dolphin Encounter in Nassau. Kids under three are free. Do I pay full price for excursion?

Do you think a 2.5 year old will be allowed in the 3-5 room with his 5 year old brother? I realize there are extra fees for under 3 and will pay those.
