  1. Hi i am confused about trying to upgrade any help appreciated.

February we booked direct on phone a IC inside pp £1,319

    September Final payment made

    Recived the Bid-Upgrade email

We compared what it would cost to pay for a upgrade.........

Cost showing online & call centre of a Sail Away Mini-Suite MX pp £1,329 (+£10) (so we would be upgrading to a higher stateroom and the price would be more then we originally paid)

Call centre would not allow us to upgrade to the MX mini suite. The only option they said was to cancle our origional booking (Cancellation charges would be £900 ) then we would have to re-book the £1,329 price. So this is obviousley this would be stupid.

But...... the call centre could upgrade us to a Mini suite MA for Total cost pp £1,689 (+£370)

Am i missing something hear to why i can not upgrade to the available MX mini suite ?

    lol

  2. Once on board after a day or two ask a member of the entertainments team if there is a planned meeting, if not they will organise one for you and publish it in the onboard daily horizon newspaper. If no one has already requested this then it won't happen.

  3. Hi

for those who have cruised with P&O (uk) and have also been on NCL (Europe)

How do the two compare in general and LGBT meets ?

I have done several with P&O (only one solo) and would like to do another solo prefiably on a Atlantis but don't want to pay the Single stateroom charge of 200%

After reading the threads about NCL it apears to be one of the most popular for single / solo Lgbt cruisers

    cheers jay

  4. This new thread is for Solo Cruisers to tell people about the next cruise they are planning and for other Solo Cruisers to refer to if they want to know if there will be other Solo passengers on a particular cruise that he or she is planning to book. Please follow the same format so that the posts on this thread will be easy to follow. The name of the ship and date should appear in the Title and then you can write your message in the body of the post. Please be sure to join in and periodically check the "Roll Call" for that Cruise Sailing, as well. Any conversations with other Cruise Critic members are better done on the Roll Call thread rather that this thread since this thread will likely cover several different cruises. Let's see how this works........
