Did anyone have any experience white water rafting in Puerto Montt, Chile while on this cruise?
-
I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with the excurs
ion for white water rafting in Puerto Montt with Celebrity (or any other cruise line).
How was the experience? I'm thinking of booking it and would like some recommendations.

Hello:
Might be a silly question, but are the walls of the cabins metal as on an ocean cruiser? I was advised years ago to take magnets with me to post itineraries, invitations, etc. I always do this, but this is our first river cruise so thus the post.
Thanks for your help!
Cheers.

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with taking the last voyage on a ship before dry docking (hope this is the correct term). I understand the Eclipse is being taken out of service April 2020 and we are considering the South American voyage just prior. Anything we should know?

My husband and I can highly recommend RC for the Baltic. We did this a couple of years ago and picked it specifically as it had three full days in St Petersburg. We used Alla Tours while there - can't say enough good things about them. There were six of us and our tours each day were fabulous. The guide was excellent - we didn't wait anywhere! We went directly to the front of the line at each stop. Our driver was great too - lovely Mercedes van - lots of room for six! The cruise we did started in Copenhagen and ended in Stockholm. Go to Copenhagen a few days early - it's a fun, vibrant city with lots to see. I can recommend a great hotel there too - right in the middle of the action! Happy planning!

Regarding 11/11 Summit sailing....no info listed on website (11/4 and 11/18 are there) and no email. Guess they are still working on updating the ports of call.
We are on this sailing as well. Anxious to get some info regarding this! Also concerned about our overnight hotel in San Juan prior to the cruise!!!!!

We just got off the Noordam last Sunday. Ironing is $28 for unlimited all week. We were told that it would be up to 48 hours after we filled our bag - but it was always back by the next day! Great service.

We just returned from our Alaska Land and Sea tour yesterday. We had a wonderful time on the Tundra Wilderness Tour. We were lucky as we had a clear day! Our guide (Jen) was excellent. This tour is very worthwhile in my opinion. Yes - we started early too....but that is apparently when you will have more luck with the wildlife.

Thank you for all your information! Hope I like the house wines!!!!:)

Hello All:
We have been given the Beverage Package by HAL for our upcoming Alaska cruise on Noordam. I've not been able to see a bar menu for this ship, but I wonder if some of you out there who have been on recent cruises can tell me if wines by the glass would be within the allottment for purchases on the card? I don't know the exact limit per purchase. I am trying to decide whether or not to take a couple of bottles of wine on board with us or not.
If anyone can provide a link to recent bar menus I would really appreciate it.
Thanks for all the great information we've found on this forum.

Hello. We used Alla Tours for our 3 day stop in St. Petersburg. They were outstanding. There were 6 of us and we put in 3 full days and saw everything...and then some. They came highly recommended to us and we were not disappointed.

Thanks for the info! I may just try this in Alaska next summer!

Hi: How big is the $20 bag?
-
This may seem like a silly question, but is the Bar Menu the same at every bar throughout the ship?
-
You photos are stunning! Looks like you had beautiful weather as well. I'm excited....we are booked on Noordam July 2016 for Alaska.......Thanks for posting. :)

Thanks Jertom for the info. We are on a cruise tour so I can only put the cruise portion in for the piece drop. Not sure how that will work.... Wish I was more savvy at this!!

Hi:
I do have a TA. In the past, I have been the who has found the discounted price for our cruise, on 2 occasions (2 different travel agents). I actually found out about the second one (a Baltic cruise on RCI last June) via cruise critic Roll Call!
I just wondered if there was a special trick to following for price reductions for HAL.
Thank you for your replies.

We are first timers on Marina now. We have not heard of a cocktail party for us. We have been on the ship 8 days. Having said that , it’s a wonderful cruise!!
