  1. I booked a cruise on Getaway before final payment was due. We are now less than two months from cruising and cabin prices have dropped by $150 per person. Does NCL offer any price protection? I have cruised other lines that would offer OBC reimbursement once final payment date has passed, does anybody know if NCL offers something similar?

  2. I am sailing on the Ruby Princess in October. Does anyone know whether the ship changes time to CST, or stay on PST? I am planning an excursion that is not through the ship and need to know if ship and port times are the same, or different. Thanks in advance to those who could be of help

  3. I'm curious as to what percentage of people who are threatening to consider other vacation options because of the new policy will actually follow through? I hope those that do will post how well their other vacations compare to Carnival with the new policy enacted. Good luck to those jumping ship!!

  4. Thanks, I am not trying to buy the wine, or beers for others using the Cheers package, but since using my sail and sign card to purchase drinks for others, I wondered if that would count toward the magic # of 15 when they 'cut you off'? The package is appealing to me, but if I am only allowed to order 15 drinks, whether consumed by me or others, not sure it works for me.

  5. I am purchasing the Cheers Package on an upcoming cruise. I understand there is a 15 drink per day limit. Those drinks I know have to be consumed by me. At dinner, I often enjoy buying a bottle of wine to share with my tablemates. I know this is not included in the Cheers package, but how does it count on my daily beverage limit?

  6. I've been on many, and they are a great way of cruising and meeting great single people from all over the world. I started doing the singles cruises because I was finding fewer and fewer single people on the cruises I had been going on. I have met lifelong friends on these cruises. The theme parties are fun, suppose some might find them 'cheesy' but a great way for people to connect with other singles, which is kind of the point, right? You'll find all kinds of people in different places in life. Most of us are not desperate, not looking for an easy hookup, or 'rough looking'. A singles cruise might enhance your cruise experience, give it a try!!
