  1. Hi, We were hoping someone on here can help. 2 years ago we went to Nassau and I booked a day pass at a hotel that was all inclusive. They had a big buffett dining area a swim up pool and access to the beach. It was really nice kinda close to Atlantis. I did find the name of the hotel on Cruise Critic but for the life of me I can't remember what it was called. I know it wasn't a breezes or a sandals. Does anyone have any idea what the name of that place could be?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

  2. Just wondering if anyone on here knows of a Red Roof Inn closest to the port in Tampa? I work at a Red Roof and I get cheaper rooms there. I am trying to figure out if anyone has stayed at one how they were and which one would be closest.

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

  3. I am glad I booked under this promotion. It really is the only reason we looked at NCL again. I am not a big fan of anytime dining. I really felt like we had to wait A LOT for dinner. Like going to a main stream restaurant on a Friday night but hopefully the drink package will keep me buzzed enough not to notice....

    Here's to it

  4. We hopefully will be sailing in October. I for one hope that all the booking up of the specialty dining helps the MDR seating times. I only went on NCL one time but we really had to wait seems like everyday to eat in the MDR even. I am not a big fan of anytime dining. Maybe the free dinners in other restaurants will free up the MDR some. LOL. I am always looking for the positive.

  5. Since you all seem so knowledgeable I just wanted to ask this. It has probably been covered before but my adult son is in our room with us on a separate account and my 12 yo son is in the room also on our account. Can I get the cheers program for me my hubby and the soda card for the 12 year old and not the adult son? I don't think he is interested in purchasing it. Just wondering if anyone knows the answer.

Cruising on Saturday and getting excited. Just wanted to get some quick info on this.

  6. I know smoking is bad. I know we should all quit... yada yada. I don't know how they would replace all the tax money the government would lose if everyone quit though. Anyway I am a smoker and usually pretty considerate. Even being a smoker the casino is already very smokey and I won't stay in there long. If that is one of the only places left to smoke I would imagine it would get pretty bad am perhaps lose revenue. I don't know just a thought though.

I guess we will have to stick to land vacations if this goes into effect as DH has no intention of quitting. Oh well we do have to follow rules.

  7. Thank you everyone for the responses. She is 12 years old and my sister in law does have court papers of course. I just wasnt sure if they required a form to be filled out like an absentee parent form kinda like when you get a passport for a child with only one parent present. I will have her get a notorized letter and bring the paperwork just in case its needed.

She was going to bring the paperwork just didnt want them to say she had to have a specific form and not have that.

Again Thanks again everyone this is the reason that I love Cruise critic and all its members.

    Have a great day!

  8. Im sure this has been asked before and I am apologize for the repetitiveness . I did check the Carnival site and it doesn't really clarify. My SIL is travelling with us this cruise. She has a minor child that does not share her last name. She has SOLE custody of this child the father signed over ALL rights to her. He has no claims custody or rights to even ask about her. Does my sister in law still need a letter with consent to travel with her from the "sperm donor"? That's essentially all he is now?

We cruise in 45 days and I completely forgot about this issue. I am beginning to get a little nervous and I was just wondering. Is there some sort of form or does it just need to be a notarized letter? I know I should have thought of it earlier it just didnt occur to me right away as I always forget she even has a father much less his name. URGH.

Sorry if my post is offensive. Thanks in advance for any enlightenment on the subject.

  9. I am a smoker and I really don't like the smell of smoke but if they changed Carnival to Non-smoking they would definitely lose customers. I know people who cruise carnival just for the smoking policy. I know smoking is unhealthy and of course it should be a priority to quit and we do smoke where we are allowed. We were on the dream last year and its kinda like hunting to find a place you were allowed to smoke. I could wait if I can't find one but hubby not so much. I don't frequent the dance clubs so can't comment on that. That may be the ONLY inside bar except the one near the casino that you are allowed to smoke in. If a ship only has one dance club how could they make it 50/50?

I hope the issue doesnt make you not enjoy your cruise.
