There is a significant price difference between the Deluxe and Classic Veranda Suites. It appears they are the exact same cabins, just in different locations. Has anyone sailed in the Classic and if so, are they satisfactory (so let's say, not next to the disco or above the engines)? I'm all for saving some money to spend elsewhere but we want to be comfortable (and rested)!
Thanks!

We are getting $300 OBC from Celebrity as part of the "Go Better" promotion and an additional $150 OBC from our travel agent. Does anyone know if any or all of these funds is refundable if not used?

While Eurodam is a lovely ship, there's no comparison between that and the Oasis! I would recommend the Oasis given that you have 20 somethings.
WOW.
So the issue with the Royal Caribbean ships when we want to go (Oasis or Harmony) is cost -- we are a party of 10 and the RC ships are 50-100% more than HAL. We are looking at the Celebrity Reflection, which is a beautiful ship and comes out somewhere in the middle.

We are considering the holiday Eurodam cruise (Dec 24-31) with our 3 kids and their partners, ages 22-26. They are not big partyers but we're concerned they may not have enough to do on the Eurodam as compared to, say, the Oasis. We've never cruised HAL and have heard the crowd is older and the ship is smaller, but it looks lovely and we assume that every holiday cruise will have more families on board. Thanks for the feedback!

They are not big partyers but we're concerned they may not have enough to do on the Reflection as compared to say, the Oasis. We, on the other hand, love Celebrity for the class of service. Thoughts from anyone who has done this?
Also - our promo would include the Classic Beverage Package. We're not big drinkers and have never purchased a beverage package, but curious to know if this covers a decent amount of mixed drinks, beers and glasses of wine, or should I cynically expect that all the drinks we want would be priced JUST above the limit for the package?
Thanks!

This is great info, thank you. When I called they told me Brenda has 2 shows on our cruise, Wed night Dec 30, at 5:15 and 8:30.
Does anyone know if they are able to accommodate dietary requirements at the Brenda Braxton show?

Free or complementary food areas are Taste ,Savor ,Manhattan Dining Room a Osheehans and the Buffet.
Yes book all the shows ahead of time ,Howl at the Moon,Headliners(comedy) and the shows After Midnight,Million Dollar Quartet and the Tenors of Rock, preferably before you cruise reserve.
Brat Pack diner show a must worth the cost.
We're sailing on Dec 26. Only entertainment options online are For the Record, After Midnight and Million Dollar Quartet. Were you able to book Howl at the Moon and the comedy shows before you sailed?

According to the recent Freestyle Dailies posted here, her show is Wednesdays at 8:30. Since its in the supper club, it can't be on a night when For the Record is on the schedule, and if she is in After Midnight as well, that is probably the only available time slot.

That one doesn't show up online but if you call in they can reserve it.
I called and they insisted this is on the website but of course it's not! Have you seen it, was it worth it, and do you know if the menu is customizable at all for those who can't eat seafood, for example?

Does anyone know anything about Brenda Braxton and her dinner show? Several reviewers have commented favorably about her, but I don't see it listed anywhere on ncl.com. Key message is just about everything must be reserved in advance so wondering how you do that.

Either all the way forward or all the way aft on deck 19. (Forward you might run into some noise from the hot tub located near there). The other best option is all the way up on the huge sundeck on Deck 20.
Thanks! Are these decks open to all passengers?

For those who have been on the Escape: We always like to find quiet deck areas for relaxing, away from the craziness of the pool areas but still with some sun. Any suggestions would be most welcome! We're sailing on the New Year's Cruise (Dec 26). Thanks!

I have spent 4 aggravating weeks fighting with NCL because they insist that our party of 10 can only dine at 5:30 or 9:30, in either complimentary or specialty restaurants. So much for "freestyle dining". Not even going into the fact that their phone reps and supervisors do not know the ship AT ALL nor even how their online stuff works. Does anyone know of a way to get the attention of management besides the usual channels (phone, email, Twitter) which yield absolutely zero results? Early reviews mostly talk about poor staff attitude so I'm feeling very Scrooge-like these days. 😂
Any experience with Classic Veranda Suite (specifically on the Silver Dawn)?

And no concerns with noise being near Dolce Vita and Guest Relations?
