  1. I understand that. However we just sailed in 11330 and from what I was told by senior officers on the ship is that the crew does and has always identified these rooms as Aqua suites. Corporate on the other hand decided to list the as a grand suite. There was a plaque on the door of 11330 that said "330 Aqua Suite". I even pulled up my booking (which was for a GS) to share with the officers on the ship and they were confused as well why corp was selling these as a GS.

So if they are saying a "Aqua Suite", did you still have the "gold" seapass card?

  2. Wow. Not what we expected to see. We have 11730 booked for next November, but may reconsider. These rooms were billed as being MUCH larger than a standard GS, but people in these rooms say not so much? While I think we would LOVE the aft balcony the lack of shaded seating concerns me a bit. We will hold on for now, but a LS might be in our future.

  3. CaribSailor,

Were you able to see any pics yet of cabin 11330? It appears that 11330 and 11730 are the biggest of the six new aft suites, especially the balconies. That's based on what I've read as well as the new specs that are listed on the RCI website, but I'm still curious to see some recent pics. I have 11330 booked, but not until early 2016.

    Enjoy your upcoming cruise!

Curious to see pics also, we are in 11730 in April 2015, and based on the RC specs..the bathroom now has only one sink?...The original GS have 2 sinks..can't imagine they would make the bathrooms smaller in these new bigger GS...any info would be welcomed...

  4. recently cruised on the Oasis on 5/10..always book a GS when we sail..this time I decided to change preferences on our account to we would accept an upgrade, not thinking it would happen. Got to the Ft. Lauderdale to check in at the port..luggage tags on luggage to GS...go to check in..the guy who was checking us in looked confused..goes over to get sea pass card..couldn't find it..goes back to computer..then back to get sea pass card..says our room has been changed..told us our room #, but I said what deck??...he was not sure..I said is this your first day on the job..he said no!..had to ask one of the agents next to him...he said, oh you have been upgraded to a crown loft suite!!..quite a surprise to us..very nice upgrade. But our luggage didn't find its way to our new cabin until 8PM...but that was ok:) I am sure we won't have an upgrade like that again.

Will be sailing on the EOS 11/4..staying at the Country Inn & Suites..what is your suggestion on route to the pier, we will be driving and leaving our car at the pier. I know the NYC Marathon is that day..didn't know what route they use or what roads/bridges are closed that day. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  7. Radio..

If you get a chance, stop by the Aquarium Bar on deck 3 (I think) and say hi to St. Hill & Henry if they are still bartending there. Tell them Russ & Karen from NY said hello. We sailed with them in October to Bermuda..they did a great job at keeping our glasses full!! Have a great time, we care considering sailing the Explorer in October for the New England/Canada cruise. We set sail on the Oasis on May 22..can't wait.:)

Will be reading all your posts.......
