We were on Apex recently, yes got the captains club drinks in the martini bar, bar staff we felt grudgingly gave us our small glass drinks, and newer staff were clueless. I always just said xxx from the captains club menu there, but no issues in Eden.
A few times when I paid for drinks ie G& T Martini bar charged for my tonic, because I asked for it separately , so had to get bar manager to remove charge and speak to his staff.

We were on Apex in September, we opted to try without a package as port intensive, decent OBC ,and Elite status. I was fine with limited choice , some cocktails/ G & T, red wine for hubby, but felt like 2nd class citizens in the martini bar, the glasses are smaller than usual serves too. Eden was wonderful, and we had a lovely server most evenings, who always brought our usual, and was tipped during and end of cruise for service.
Luckily I have 'A brass neck' as they say in Scotland, and ordered one after the other so at 18.55, had lots lined up.

Our 12 night cruise last week had 3 chic nights and were noted on the app before we cruised.

To determine the prevailing rate today, do a mock booking.
Thanks, price is not worth it now so will just stick to cruise only with Elite perks and OBC

Booked cruise about 7 months ago as a cruise only. Having a rethink on upgrading to all included. Would the price be the difference from cruise only to all in as advertised now? (I paid about £200 less than now selling for cruise only).

Thanks,
I phoned again, and got the cabin I originally wanted as still showing available! feel better now. Only been inside once before on Edge, but the extra cost even to outside is 1000GBP!
-
I have previously sailed on Edge inside, and was impressed with size. I have booked on Apex, but though lots of inside were showing on line, the agent said they were not on her live system (though today still showing availability?) So she has given me 11166 but looking at the deck plan is this connected? and is it Deluxe or regular? I see there is a size difference... Hopefully I can change if it is the smaller one I've been allocated.

JS pay the same tips as regular cabins.
Thanks, but worried I would be paying the new rate but presume would not treat as a new booking,

I have a good location balcony on Anthem, and have pre paid gratuities, If I was successful in Bid up to junior suite sea class would I have to pay additional gratuities, and price has increased now?

Can’t you just take a couple of bottles on board? Even disguised as medication!!
😆 even one bottle will last the week. I will be having G&T so no problem to pay a bit more for her 4/5 Baileys for the week. She is one customer who does not benefit from all inclusive.

Baileys is $10 ( as per the drinks menu in the app) and Classic covers drinks up to $9 so her Baileys will cost you $1!
Thanks, ideal.

I am sailing on 28th Aug with my 82 year old Mum. Though the basic drink package is included, it's such a waste as she only drinks tea, and an occasional Baileys/or equivalent! (Aldi's version is good she says!) I have learnt that Baileys is not included and that is only premium. Is there a non branded version available? Or how much is it as I know I can pay the difference.

My inside on Edge was the biggest cabin we ever sailed in. It was our first inside and I was in a way dreading it, but it meant we could cruise. It was a Med very port intensive cruise, so only used for sleeping in. I would be hesitant to book another due to being confined in one, but if move was guaranteed if required for quarantine then yes. RCCL inside with real time view screen looked good when I had a nosey.

My daughter and I entered the draw, got the e-mail early on 30th, but not successful. My colleague was though, and she is going week 7th. I have been on Anthem before and love that ship!

There was long lines first night on Anthem for my time dining, Jamie's staff approached people waiting and offered buy one get one free for that moment, we took it and meal was absolutely amazing.

This question goes out to all my UK friends or those that might be in the know.
I am a big Jack Daniels, Jim Beam and Wild Turkey Bourbon guy.
I would like to know what is the best or most popular brands of Gin, Scotch and Irish Whiskey in the UK.
I would greatly appreciate the information.
Thanx
Gin is very big here in the UK. My favourite brands are Tanqueray (No 10 and Rangpur), Brockmans, Bombay Sapphire. Whisky (Scottish spelling!) Macallan Gold (husband prefers)and Jura . Supermarkets are normally the cheapest to buy alcohol. eg Asda (Walmart family)

Thanks folks. Will keep an eye on it. Do they normally offer pre cruise sale prices on drinks packages on TA's? or will all those sea days knock away the profit😆
-
at the moment there is no offers at all, so 2.5 plus for OV. Hoping booking on board might have OBC to pay for drinks on all those sea days!
-
I am sailing on Edge in September and looking at a RCCL cruise for Nov 20, (TA from UK) can you book this on board? Hoping to get some incentives as nothing on UK site and more expensive on US site.
-
used last October, no issues, cost $45 to our hotel in the financial district.
-
Thanks for this. Sailing September.😄

If your reasonably fit, you can walk along the flat 'promenade'.
-
Thanks, the planner states-( but don't see any Gin's under $9,on the menus, so maybe not so nice!) Prices Starting From*37.24 GBP per day.ADD TO CART
